Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the title composition effective to prevent the fogging, attaching of water droplets, and staining of windshield, composed of a methylpolysiloxane containing an organosulfonic acid base, and glucerin or ethanolamine as main constituents.
CONSTITUTION: A composition mainly composed of (A) a methylpolysiloxane containing an organosulfonic acid base denoted by the formula (M is Na, K; 0.5≤a≤1, 1≤b≤2, 1≤b/a≤4), and (B) one or more compound seleced from glycerine, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, and triethanolamine. A compound of the formula having b/a of <1 is difficult to be synthesized in an industrial scale, and the one having b/a of >4 has only low solubility to water, and poor effectiveness for the prevention of fogging, water-droplet attaching, staining, etc.
