Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.α−、β−、γ−及びδ−トコフェロールの混合物を、高温、高圧下で、 非反応性希釈剤及びパラジウム/アルミナ触媒の存在下で、ホルムアルデヒド及 び水素と接触させることを含んでなる、α−トコフェロールの製造方法であって 、 (1)パラジウムが、前記触媒の0.1〜5.0重量%であり; (2)パラジウム分散は少なくとも25%であり; (3)少なくとも90重量%のパラジウムが、アルミナ上、アルミナ表面から 250ミクロン未満の深さに位置しており;そして (4)前記アルミナの結晶相はγ、η又はそれらの混合物である、 方法。 2.前記の高温及び高圧が175〜300℃及び87〜173絶対バールであ る請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記触媒が、150〜250m2/gの窒素BET表面積を有し、そして表面 積:体積が1500m2/m3より大きい請求項2記載の方法。 4.α−、β−、γ−及びδ−トコフェロールの混合物を、175〜300℃ の温度及び87〜173絶対バールの圧力下で、ホルムアルデヒド及び水素と、 第一低級アルカノール希釈剤及びパラジウム/アルミナ触媒の存在下で接触させ 、 (1)パラジウムが、前記触媒の0.5〜2.0重量%であり; (2)パラジウム分散は少なくとも30%であり; (3)少なくとも90重量%のパラジウムが、アルミナ上、アルミナ表面から 250ミクロン未満の深さに位置しており;そして (4)前記アルミナの結晶相がγである、 請求項1記載の方法。 5.前記触媒のBET表面積が150〜250m2/gの範囲であり、そして触媒 の表面積:体積の比が2000m2/m3より大きい請求項4記載の方法。
