Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form in a small area a flexible board of an electric apparatus whose electric connections are established by a harness to the board and make small the space in which the harness is installed by storing the board in a space between a cylinder and a small cylindrical member in such a condition as deflected convexly in the circumferential direction of the cylinder. SOLUTION: A coupling piece 30 of a flexible board is folded up in double after a first contacting piece 31 is locked by a locking notch 42 in a cylinder 40 and is inserted into the space between the cylinder 40 and a small cylindrical member 50. The coupling piece 30 is stored in such a condition as deflected convexly in the circumferential direction of the cylinder 40-(a). When a lens is rotated clockwise relative to the case body, the amount of the deflective deformation of the coupling piece 30 enlarges-(b). When the lens body is rotated counter clockwise, the coupling piece 30 is pulled and the amount of deflective deformation lessens. That is, when the lens body is rotated, only the amount of deflective deformation of the flexible board changes with rotation of the lens. This allows the length of the board to remain small, and the power loss of the board lessens.

The central axis of the winding part (35) is orthogonal to the rotation plane of the viewfinder (90). As shown in FIG. 11, when the viewfinder (90) is rotated around the pivot (91), the second contact piece (32) rotates and the first contact piece (31) is fixed. In the conventional video camera, since the diameter of the winding portion (35) of the flexible substrate (3) expands and contracts, if the rotation angle of the viewfinder (90) is large, In some cases, the diameter of the winding part (35) becomes very small. Here, in the electrical connection between the camera body (9) and the viewfinder (90), a large voltage or a large current cannot be sufficiently transmitted by the flexible substrate (3) alone. A harness that is a bundle may be used. However, if this harness can be passed through the hollow part of the winding part (35), it will save space, but the diameter of the winding part (35) may be very small, so tighten the harness. Occurs. Therefore, in the conventional video camera, it is difficult to pass the harness through the hollow part of the winding part (35). Further, since the winding portion (35) is formed by winding an elongated substrate piece several times, the entire length of the flexible substrate (3) also becomes long. As a result, the electric resistance in the flexible substrate (3) increases, and the power loss also increases. An object of the present invention is to reduce the area of a flexible substrate and the space in which a harness is provided in an electric device using a harness and a flexible substrate for electrical connection.

[Operation and Effect] The flexible substrate (3) is composed of a cylindrical body (40) and a small cylindrical body (5).
(0), in the space between the cylindrical body (40) is deformed convexly along the circumferential direction of the cylindrical body (40), when any one of the connected body is rotated, the bent flexible substrate ( 3) is pulled or
Or, it will be in any state of being excessively bent. That is, only the amount of flexural deformation of the flexible substrate (3) changes, and the length of the flexible substrate (3) can be shorter than in the prior art.
The power loss in (3) is reduced. Also, flexible substrates
Since (3) is bent and deformed along the circumferential direction of the cylindrical body (40) outside the small cylindrical body (50), even if one connected body is rotated,
The inner diameter of the small cylinder (50) does not narrow. Therefore, the small cylinder
Even if a harness or the like is passed through the inside of (50), there is no fear that the harness or the like is tightened, and the electrical connection between the connected objects can be smoothly performed.

When the lens body (6) is rotated clockwise with respect to the case body (1), as shown in FIG. 8 (b), the bending deformation of the connecting piece (30) of the flexible substrate (3) occurs. The amount increases. FIG.
When the lens body (6) is rotated counterclockwise from the state shown in (a), the connecting piece (30) is pulled, and the amount of bending deformation is reduced. That is, when the lens body (6) is rotated, the bent and deformed flexible substrate (3) is pulled or excessively bent, and the flexible substrate (3) is deformed. Only the amount of bending deformation changes. As a result, the length of the flexible substrate (3) can be reduced as compared with the related art,

In order to electrically connect the case body (1) and the lens body (6), not only the flexible substrate (3) but also a harness (2) which is a bundle of electric wires may be used. That is, a flexible substrate
The conductive pattern (not shown) formed in (3) is generally thin, having a width of about 1 mm, and cannot be used for supplying a large current or a large voltage. Further, if the number of wires of the harness (2) is large, not only the wires are entangled but also the workability is poor due to lack of flexibility. Therefore, the harness can be used in combination with the flexible substrate (3).
(2) may be used. However, if a separate space is required to provide the harness (2), the size of the digital still camera is increased, which is against the demands of the market. Therefore,
In this example, as shown in FIGS. 8 (a) and 8 (b),
Pass the harness (2) through the case (0) and the case body (1) and the lens body.
(6) is electrically connected. As described above, even when the lens body (6) is rotated, the flexible substrate (3) is kept in the cylindrical body (40) and the small cylindrical body (50).
Only bends and deforms in the space between
Does not change in diameter. Therefore, unlike the related art, there is no fear that the harness or the like is tightened, and the electrical connection between the case body (1) and the lens body (6) can be smoothly performed.

Since the flexible substrate (3) is very thin, having a thickness of about several millimeters, it may be used repeatedly. or,
An electric wire cable or the like may be used instead of the harness. Furthermore, in this example, a digital still camera is illustrated, but other electronic devices such as a video camera may be used. Also, the first fitting body (4) is attached to the case body (1),
The fitting body (5) is connected to the lens body (6), but may be reversed.
