SOLUTION: Communication which is being operated between a main microcomputer 1 and sub-microcomputers 2 and 3 is monitored by a communication monitoring means 4, and when communication can not be performed, the sub- microcomputers 2 and 3 are reset by a resetting means 5, and the processing is continued after the function restoration of the sub-microcomputers 2 and 3 in a prescribed time. Thus, function restoration can be attained when communication can not be performed in a system in which more than three microcomputers are connected with a communication line.
