Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of waste paper due to an output of an error message by not applying paper cut till the reception of a succeeding page is started after the end of reception and printout of one page, printing out an error message after a page whose printout is finished when the reception of the succeeding page is disabled due to occurrence of a communication fault and then applying paper cut. CONSTITUTION:When print of one page picture signal data is finished, a communication control section 11 receives and sends a procedure signal with an opposite equipment and starts the reception of a succeeding page when the transmission reception is finished normally and requests recording paper cut to a mechanism control section 12. The mechanism control section 12 uses a cutter 21 to cut the recording paper. Moreover, if the transmission reception of the produce signal is not normally terminated after the reception of the one page picture signal data, the communication control section 11 informs the communication fault state to a report edit section 14 and the report edit section 14 outputs an error message to a recording section 13 based on the state. を持つファクシミリ装置に関する.従来の技術 従来のファクシミリ装置においては、通信異常等が発生
した場合にディスプレイ表示等によりユーザに通知をし
ているが、該表示中に次の通信を行った場合には装置と
しては次の状態を表示することを優先する為に、前記通
信異常の表示は消滅することになる.ユーザへの通知を
徹底する為に従来のファクシミリ装置においては前記通
信異常が発生した場合にレポートを出力し、障害内容な
どをプリントアウトする. 発明が解決しようとする課題 しかしながら、上記従来のファクシミリ装置においては
、1ページの記録終了後に記録紙をカットしその陵で上
記レポートを出力するので、機構的制限による所定の長
さより長い紙を出力しなければならない為に無駄紙が多
く発生するという欠点を有している.更に受信印字した
記録データと上記レポートが別々にカットされているの
で,他の記録データと混じったときに対応がつきにくい
という欠点を有している. 本発明は従来の上記実情に鑑みてなされたものであり、
従って本発明の目的は、従来の技術に内在する上記欠点
を解消することを可能とした新規なファクシミリ装置を
提供することにある.課題を解決するための手段 上記目的を達成する為に、本発明によるファクシミリ装
置は、記録紙を自動的に切断する自動紙カット機構を持
ち、1ページの受信、印字が終了して次ページの受信が
始まるまで紙カットを行わず、通信異常の発生により次
ページの受信が不可能となった場合に、印字終了してい
るページの後にエラーメッセージを印字してから紙カッ
トを行う記録機構制御手段を含んで楕成される.実施例 次に、本発明をその好ましい一実施例について図面を参
照して具体的に説明する. 第1図は本発明の一実施例を示すブロック構成図である

記録部13に出力する.記録部l3は上記1ページの画
信号データの後に上記エラーメッセージを印字出力する
