Three mounting parts 22 protruding from a circular cross section for bending and mounting the main body are formed integrally with the main body. Reference numeral 23 denotes two adjusting screws that are screwed into screw holes 25 cut in the lid 21 and pass through them, and a pressing member 26 rotatably attached to the inner end presses the elongated member 16 with an appropriate force. It is designed to provide initial tension. By adjusting this initial tension on the side where the elongated member 16 enters the body 18, the resistance or tensile force, which is the frictional force between the elongated member 16 and the mounting portion 22, can be adjusted. This tensile force increases exponentially with respect to the initial tension with respect to the total angle at which the elongated member 16 is mounted on the mounting portion 22. Reference numeral 27 represents an extension portion extending from both sides of the main body 18, and 28 represents a connecting member that connects the distal end portions of this extension portion. Reference numeral 30 denotes an engaging portion consisting of a recess formed from the lower surface of each extension portion 27, which is connected to the hook portion 13.
and is removably engaged with. In this state, the main body 18 is supported by the support portion 14 and is prevented from rotating downward beyond a predetermined amount. The support portion 14 may not be formed.

。In the structure as described above, as shown in FIG. 6, the user places both feet in contact with the contact portion 15, grips one side of the elongated member 16 with both hands, and pulls it out to the state shown in the figure. You can exercise by repeating certain movements. The movement of pulling out the elongated member 16 is similar to rowing a boat or playing tug of war, and the pulling force is approximately constant. Alternatively, the user can perform a continuous pulling motion while alternately grasping one side of the elongated member 16 with the left and right hands. Alternatively, the elongated member 16 can be reciprocated by being pulled out alternately on both sides. Moreover, the user can also use it while sitting on a chair.

The user grips a connecting member 28 (not shown) of the main body 18 with one hand and pulls out the elongated member 16 from the main body 18 with the other hand. In this case as well, the tensile force is adjustable and approximately constant.

Further, the shape and number of mounting parts 22 may be changed, such as by using only one semicircular mounting part 22 with a groove formed on its circumferential surface, or by using five mounting parts as illustrated and described. Alternatively, the adjustment screw 23 may be configured to be used only on one side and to pull out the elongated member 16 only from the opposite side.

In this embodiment, a contact portion 15 is formed on a main body 18 which is made up of a lower half portion 18a and an upper half portion 18b and can be disassembled and assembled, and a rotating shaft 32 disposed in the vertical direction is rotatably supported. be. The elongated member 16 is a groove wheel 3 fixed to a rotating shaft 32.
3, and the initial tension is adjusted using two adjusting screws 23. A friction disk 35 is fixed to the rotating shaft 32, and a contact member 38 rotatably attached comes into contact with the tip of an adjustment screw 36 that adjustably sets the frictional force. When the elongated member 16 is pulled to one side, the groove wheel 33 rotates together with the rotating shaft 32, and the disc 35 also rotates, so that energy is absorbed by friction.
