〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明はコンタクトピンに関し、特にプリント回路基板
のスルーホール部に機械的に固定し、電気的に接続する
ためのコンタクトビンの取付部分の楕遣に関する.
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種のコンタクトビンにおいて、プリント回路
基板のスルーホール部と接触する取付部分の構造は、第
3図に示すように、取付部断面形状を方形に構成して対
角寸法を高精度に仕上げると共にスルーホール部8の内
径寸法も高精度に仕上げて圧入接続するソリッドビンタ
イプl1のものと、第4図に示すように断面形状に適当
な凸凹を設けて対角寸法に柔軟性を持たせたコンブライ
アントビンタイプ12のものの2方式で構或されていた

ント回路基板のスルーホール部に圧入接続する際に、機
械的な保持力の安定化、更に電気的接続を安定化に保つ
為に取付部対角寸法とプリント回路基板のスルーホール
部内径寸法を高精度に仕上げる事が必要であり、原価高
を招くと共に、微妙な寸法条件のばらつきが上述の電気
的機械的特性に大きく影響を及ぼすとい欠点を有してい
た.
また第2のコンブライアントビンタイプに於いては、取
付部対角寸法方向に圧入時の弾性を与えた為にビン及び
スルーホール部内径の寸法条件は緩和出来るものの、プ
レス加工による凹部形成に於いて断面積減少率が大きく
、機械的強度が弱くなり、圧入接続時又は圧入接続後に
ビンの曲りや折れを引き起こす場合があるという欠点を

に構或される端子の角部と前記溝部を配設した側と反対
側の端子の角部とを前記スルーホール部に内接させると
共にそれぞれの端子対角部に面取部を設けてなる.〔実

ール部8に嵌合固定できるように中間取付部分1を有し
、この取付部分1の一辺側より左右対称位置に2条のV
字型の凹状渭部2,3が設けられている。これら凹状溝
部2,3の両端に形成される端子角部4,5はその反対
側に形戒される端子角部6,7よりも開いた形で形戒さ
れ、スルーホール部8へ圧入する際には、各端子角部4
,5,6.7がプリント回路基板の導電性のスルーホー
ル部8に充分な接圧で圧入され取付部分1の断面形状が
弾力的に変化し得るコンブライアントピン部9を構戒し
ている.
このように構成される本実施例のコンブライアントピン
部9は、プリント回路基板のスルーホール部8に挿入前
、端子角部4−7及び5−6の対角寸法は、スルーホー
ル部8の内径より大きな寸法を有しており、スルーホー
ル部8に挿入することにより、端子角部4,5の弾力的
変形によって第l図(c)の位置関係におさまり、スル
ーホール部8の損傷を誘発することなく、比較的に軽荷
重で挿入出来る。第2図に本実施例のコンタクトビンを
プリント回路基板10のスルーホール部8に挿入した時

〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明は、コンタクトビン中間取付
部の一辺側より断面がV字型又はU字型もしくはそれに
準する形状の凹状講部を左右対称に配設することにより
、コンブライアントピンとソリッドビンの両方の利点を
有するコンタクトビンを実現できる効果がある。即ち、
溝部側の端子角部の弾力的変形によりコンブライアント
ビンの特性を持たせることが可能であり、また渭部と反
対側の端子各部の圧入によりソリッドビンの圧入特性が
得られる.
その結果、対角寸法とスルーホール部の内径寸法の公差
を緩和することができ、更に、断面積減少率を最少に押
える事が出来る為、圧入時の曲がりや折れに対し機械的
強度が大となり、たとえば圧人後のワイヤーラッピング
接続時の回転トルクを受けても全く影響を受けてないと
いう、高品質で且つ使い勝手に優れたコンタクトビンが
