[Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a cover opening/closing device attached to a fixing device of a laser printer, etc. Electrophotographic printers such as laser printers are rapidly becoming popular due to their features such as quiet printing, high density, and high speed, and along with this, ease of maintenance has become important. The inside of an electrophotographic printer can usually be easily opened to solve problems such as paper jams, or for cleaning or inspection. However, there are parts such as the fuser and charging parts that are dangerous due to high temperatures or high voltages, so these dangerous parts should be kept in such a way that they cannot be easily accessed by anyone other than service personnel, and if necessary, they should be kept inside. It is covered with a cover that can be opened and closed for easy inspection and parts replacement. In order to perform maintenance quickly, an opening/closing device that can easily open and close the cover is desired. [Prior Art] FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing the appearance of a cover 51 of a conventional fixing device 50, and FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a mechanism of a conventional opening/closing device 52 for the cover 51. The fixing device 50 has a lamp unit (not shown) consisting of a flash lamp, a cooling fin, etc. that serves as a heat source, and the lamp unit is covered with a cover 51 to prevent light from leaking outside and to prevent high-temperature parts from being exposed. It is installed inside. The cover 51 is attached to a main body (not shown) so as to be openable and closable in a circular arc around a support shaft 6l. The opening/closing device W5 2 is a handle 62 for opening the cover 51.
and a locking device 163 for locking the cover 51 in the closed position. The locking device 63 includes an operating rod 64 that is rotatable in parallel with the axis of the support shaft 6l;

The hook 67 is rotatably connected to the end of the shaft 6 and is rotatable about a shaft 68, and an engaging portion 69 is attached to the main body (not shown) so as to be able to engage with the hook 67. These are mounted inside the cover 51, but the end of the operating rod 64 protrudes from the side surface of the cover 51 and is bent at a right angle to form an operating section 64a. To open the above-mentioned cover 51, use one hand to press the operating section 64.
When a is rotated upwards (in the direction of arrow M5 in FIG. 6) and disengages from the engaging portion 69. In this state, if you hold the handle 62 with your other hand and lift it upward (in the direction of arrow M6 in FIG. This allows the lamp unit to be exposed and inspected. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the conventional opening/closing device y152 described above, in order to open the cover 51, one hand operates the operating part 64a to release the locked state, and the other hand moves the handle 62 upward. I had to use both hands to lift it up. Furthermore, if the locking state of the locking device 63 and its released state are maintained in their respective states, it is possible to open the cover 51 with only one hand without using both hands. Operation of the operation part 64a and the handle 6
I had to perform two different operations in sequence. Therefore, there was a problem that opening and closing the cover 51 was troublesome and the opening and closing operations could not be performed quickly. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above-mentioned problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide an opening/closing device that can easily and quickly open and close a cover. A free space is provided between the operation plate 36 and the upper end of the connecting rod 39 and the left end of the connecting rod 45 so that they do not come into contact with each other as the operation temporary 36 rotates. The necessary rotational movement is possible when each hook 33, 43 is engaged. Note that the stopper 38 also serves as a guide for the connecting rod 39. Guide members 46.46 are for guiding the connecting rod 45. Further, the paper is conveyed between the cover 7 and the main body lO as shown by arrow M8. Next, the operation of the opening/closing device 8 configured as described above will be explained. From the locked state shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the operating section 35a
When you hold it in your hand and pull it upward (in the direction of arrow M6), the operating shaft 35 rotates to the right in FIG. do. As the connecting rod 39 moves diagonally downward, the hook 33 rotates to the left and is disengaged from the engaging portion 32. When the operating portion 35a is further lifted upward, the cover 7 rotates in an arc in the direction of arrow M7 about the support shaft 31, and becomes open. During this time, the operating plate 36 separates from the connecting rod 45, so that the hook 43 engages with the engaging portion 42 when the cover 7 is in the open state. When closing the cover 7, contrary to the above, the operating section 35a
By operating it in the closing direction, it returns to the locked state shown in Figure 3. According to the above-described embodiment, the hook 1 can be moved by one operation of holding the operation parts 15a and 35a and pulling them upward.
3.33 and the engaging portion 12.32 are automatically released, and the cover 2.7 can be opened. Therefore, the opening operation of the cover 2.7 can be performed extremely easily and quickly with one hand. Moreover, when the cover 2.7 is open, the hook 2.
3.43 and the engaging portion 22.42 automatically engage to lock the open position, so the covers 2 and 7 may inadvertently fall down and close during inspection of the lamp unit 4.9, etc. You can perform maintenance work with peace of mind. Furthermore, closing the cover 2.7 from the open locked state can be done extremely easily and quickly with a single operation. In the above embodiment, the stopper 17.18, 37.3
8 is arranged so as to come into contact with the operation plate 16.36, but it may also be provided so as to come into contact with the operation shaft 15.35 or the operation parts 15a, 35a. Various spring members can be used instead of the tension spring 14.24 or the coiled spring 34.44. In addition, various structures, shapes, dimensions, etc. of the fixing device 1.6, the cover 2.7, and the opening/closing device 3.8 other than those described above can be adopted. The opening/closing device of the present invention can be applied to various covers other than the fixing device. [Effects of the Invention] According to the present invention, the cover can be opened and closed easily and quickly with one operation.
