Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the correct correspondence to a test diagnostic program of an information processor by storing diagnostic program corresponding to the edition of the information processor into an auxiliary memory of a maintenance center. CONSTITUTION:An executing request of a test diagnostic program received from an input/output device 13 of a maintenance center 1 is sent to an information processor control part 21 by a remote maintenance control part 11 via a circuit 3. The part 21 compares the edition of an information processor 2 with the correspondence between an auxiliary memory 22 and the test diagnostic program. If no coincidence is obtained from the comparison, the part 21 requests the part 11 to send the diagnosing program having the correct correspondence. Thus the part 11 sends a test diagnostic program having the correct correspondence to an auxiliary memory 12 to the part 21. The part 21 replaces the diagnostic program of the memory 22 with another program having the correct correspondence and carries it out. Thus correct correspondence is secured for the test diagnostic program of the processor 2.

した結果対応が違っていれば前記保守センタに正しい対
応の試験診断プログラムの送信を要求する手段と、保守
センタより正しい対応の試験診断プログラムを送信する
手段と、前記情報処理装置で前記診断プログラムを受信
する手段と、前記情報処理装置側の補助記憶装置に記憶
されている試験診断プログラムを受信した試験診断プロ
グラムに置き換える手段とを有する。
