Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the setting of an action level at the time of testing by rewriting the memory contents of a non-volatile memory concerning an action level in accordance with the key input of a key operating means. CONSTITUTION:When a transmitting power level is adjusted, first, a power meter (not shown in the figure) is connected instead of an antenna 17, and while the power meter is watched with the key operation of an operating part 1 in the carrier ON condition, the increase and decrease are executed, and the level is adjusted until it becomes a specified power level. Since a main CPU 5, each time designation is carried out from the operating part 1, writes the value designated to the gain control circuit of an E<2>PROM 6 and a power amplifier 18, the power level can be set without removing the cover of a mobile radio set main body.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In recent years, various circuits have been made into LSIs, and the structures of mobile radio devices are also gradually becoming smaller. However, as mentioned above, the variable resistor provided in the main body of the mobile radio device cannot be expected to be miniaturized at present. For this reason, the variable resistor occupies a large proportion of mobile radio equipment, which is an obstacle to future miniaturization of mobile radio equipment. Additionally, in order to adjust the variable resistor, it is necessary to remove the cover of the mobile radio device.

In the above configuration, a normal transmission operation is performed as follows. First, the telephone number of the other party input from the operation unit 1 is encoded by the sub CPU 2 and sent to the bus BUS via the interface circuit 3. The main CPU 5 judges this content and creates transmission data,
Data is sent to the transmitting D/A converter 10. E2 FROM is installed in the transmitting D/A converter 10 in advance.
Among the stored contents of 6, there is a gain control circuit in which a level setting value for transmission data is written, and the transmission data according to the transmission level set by this gain control circuit is sent to the transmitter 15 as a modulation signal. The signal modulated by the transmitter 15 is sent to a power amplifier 18 . Duplexer 1

Scan operation is performed by synthesizer 14 and R85I D/A.
This is done with converter 9. After specifying a channel using the synthesizer 14, an RSSI signal is detected from the receiving section 13. The level of the RSSI signal varies depending on the mobile radio, so it must be adjusted. Therefore, the R85I D/A converter 9 has a circuit in which the level setting value for RSSI is written in advance from the memory contents of the E2FROM6.

is adjusted. The adjusted R35I level is digitized by the A/D converter built into the R35I D/A converter and sent to the main CPU 5 via the bus.

As mentioned above, there are dial keys and operation keys for functions, but when placed in test mode, these keys can be changed to test-specific functions that are different from those used during normal operation. The memory contents of E2FROM6 include transmission and data reher setting values, level setting values for receiving data, level setting values for transmitting voice, level setting values for receiving voice, and R3.
There are level setting values for 5I and level setting values for transmission power, and the stored contents can be changed using the operation section 1.

- As an example, the case of adjusting the transmission power level is shown. First, a power meter (not shown) is connected in place of the antenna 17, and with the carrier ON, the power is increased or decreased by operating keys on the operation unit 1 while looking at the power meter until the power reaches a specified power level. The main CPU 5 writes the specified value to the E2FROM 6 and the gain control circuit of the power amplifier 18 every time a specification is received from the operation unit 1, so that the power level can be set without removing the cover of the mobile radio device body. Such a setting can be realized by using at least one of the dial key and the funk key on the operation unit 1, and by predetermining the key corresponding to the type of key level for level increase/decrease.
