[Detailed explanation of the invention] In conventional water stop gates, the inside of the gate body made of a copper plate is usually filled with concrete to suppress buoyancy and operate in a well-balanced manner. A large amount of time and money is spent on kneading operations and pouring.

The present invention is characterized by filling the internal cavity of the gate body with water in order to maintain balance in water in a water stop gate, and instead of filling with concrete, river water, sea water, etc. The use of water in the gate facilitates the filling operation and provides significant cost savings, while allowing the filling water to be used semi-permanently as part of the gate construction material. A commercially available rust preventive agent or oxygen scavenger can be used to easily deal with freezing problems by adding antifreeze to the water as needed, and if volume changes due to temperature differences etc., there should be a space above the water. It is designed to be filled with nitrogen gas, air, etc. as necessary and sealed.

An embodiment of the water stop gate of the present invention will be described in terms of its surface. One end 1 of the gate is fixed and rotated, and the other end moves up and down to adjust and stop the amount of water flowing from upstream 5 to downstream 6. At this time, the gate body 2 is a ``semi-cylindrical'' copper plate structure with a cavity in the center, and the internal cavity is filled with water 3 instead of conventional concrete to maintain balance in the water. There is.

In order to fill the above-mentioned cavity with concrete, a work process such as transporting commercially available cement, gravel, sand, etc. to the site and filling after mixing is required, but in this invention, it is necessary to use local water using a submersible pump etc. It is a very simple and inexpensive method to fill and add 100 to 500 ppm of a commercially available rust inhibitor or 500 ppm of an oxygen scavenger to prevent corrosion. At this time, a space 4 is appropriately provided in the upper part to release water expansion due to heat, and nitrogen gas or the like is filled as necessary. In addition, when freezing, add anti-freezing agent.

(2) The specific gravity of the filling is concrete (1.20-1.30)
Since it is less (water: 1.0), the load on the rotating part of the gate is also reduced, reducing power and extending the life of the equipment.
