Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform uniform adjustment in a short time by compensating the amount of gap for supplying paper sheet until an optimal gap value is obtained by analyzing data on conveying state after supplying the paper sheets. CONSTITUTION:Data obtained by a detector 5 is accumulated in a buffer unit 6 by a specified number of paper sheets, and an arithmetic unit 10 performs statistical treatment of the data at the timing of completion of counting of the sheets. The arithmetic unit converts a statistical maximum value into the compensating amount of gap 4, and rotates a compensating motor 7 to move a compensating roller 9 to change the amount of gap 4. At this time, the compensating motor 7 is rotated while the amount of rotation is confirmed by a rotary encoder 8. An ultimate compensating amount of gap 4 depends on the statistical maximum values and the state of their dispersion, and fixation of the gap after the compensation is performed by a mechanical brake.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to an automatic gap amount correction device for a paper sheet feeding mechanism unit that feeds paper sheets individually [Prior Art] Conventionally, the gap amount , g+adjustment is performed manually using a jig tool so that the actual measured value approaches the reference value (reference range), and after the first adjustment, the actual feeding operation is performed and correction is added to the adjustment. This was done by iteratively finding the optimal state.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The above-mentioned conventional adjustment method involves manually performing an operation to bring the product closer to a reference value (range), and then performing another correction based on the extended state after the operation. Since this process is repeated several times, there is a problem that the measurement lacks uniformity due to the addition of manual labor, and it takes time to find the optimal state.

[Means for Solving the Problems] 1. The paper sheet feeding mechanism gaff-free +1 automatic correction device of the present invention which solves the conventional problems is effective for single sheet feeding 111 from the sheet stacking section. A detector that detects the amount and direction of inclination of paper sheets in the transport direction that occurs and the passage time of paper sheets, a calculation section that uses these data as data to determine the tendency of the transport state, and a feeding mechanism section based on the judgment results. The configuration includes a correction motor and a correction roller for correcting the gap amount.

The paper sheets accumulated in the paper sheet bundle 411 section 1 are fed out in m pieces by a feeding mechanism section 2 (picker roller, butcher roller) and fed out onto the conveyance path 3. At this time, the state of the edge is one edge on the left in the gap between the feeding mechanism section 2 and the correction roller 9, and the detector 5 captures the state of edge as data.

The detector 5 consists of a set of two transmissive photosensors, one on the right and left sides, in a direction perpendicular to the paper sheet transport direction of the transport path 3, and provides data on the left, ! The time difference between T's photos and the passing time of paper sheets are taken in.

The time difference data also detects the direction at the same time, and is used as left and right balance correction data for the gap 4. The passing time data also detects the pitch between sheets of conveyed paper at the same time and is used as overall correction data for the gap 4.

The correction method will be described below. First, the data taken in by the detection: Raku 5 is accumulated in the buffer 6 for the designated number of sheets, and the calculation section 10 performs statistical processing on the data at the timing of completion of the number of sheets. Regarding the statistical maximum value, it is converted into a correction amount for the gap 4, and the correction motor 7 is rotated to rotate the correction roller 9.

Further, the correction amount for the gap 4 is determined based on the statistical maximum value and its dispersion state (time difference between left and right photos). The gap after correction is fixed by a mechanical brake.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention collects the feeding gap il of a device having a feeding mechanism for one of paper sheets as data on the conveyance state after feeding, and determines the optimum gap value by analyzing the data. By making corrections up to this point, uniform adjustments can be made in a short time. Furthermore, changes in mechanical parts over time can be adjusted without periodic inspections.
