Conventionally, as an example of this type of insulating cover for a conductor connection part, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 53-110474 discloses a pair of insulating upper bottom plates 1 formed in a concave shape to cover a conductor connection part.
7, 17', and a pair of expandable and contractible side plates 13, 14 formed in a striped shape connecting the opposing sides of the pair of upper bottom plates. , 14 is shown having its end edge separably adhered to either one of the pair of upper base plates. This shape is attached so as to wrap around the joint of the conductor, so its use is limited to cases where the joined conductors are arranged in a straight line. Furthermore, even if the conductor is clamped by the elastic contraction force of the bellows-shaped side plate, the clamping pressure is unstable and may spread due to external force. There were some drawbacks such as not being able to do so.

The present invention eliminates these conventional drawbacks, and the arrangement of the conductor coupling part is not limited to a straight line, but can be applied to an L-shape, T-shape, or cross-shape, and can also be applied to changes in the width, thickness, and number of stacked conductors. The purpose of this invention is to make it possible to select the notch size accordingly, to make it applicable to various conductor sizes, to facilitate standardization, and to reduce costs.

Next, an example in which this insulating cover is applied to a joint portion of a conductor will be described. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the ends of the conductors 3, 3, which are arranged linearly, have their insulating tubes 4 stripped off, and are tightened with two tightening bolts 5 to expose the conductive parts on the joints 3a. , when installing the lower covers 1 and 2, use a knife, cutter, etc. to make sure that the widths of the cutouts 1g and 2g on the A and B sides of the upper and lower covers 1 and 2 match the width of the conductor 3 with some margin. Cut and form cut grooves 1d and 2d. Also, when the upper and lower covers 1 and 2 are overlapped, the gap created at the overlapping part of the cutouts 1g and 2g of the upper and lower covers 1 and 2 is made to match the cross section of the conductor 3, and the conductors 3 and 3 are passed through this gap. The conductors 3, 3 are held between the upper and lower covers 1, 2 in such a manner that they are pulled out, and the opposing connection holes 1f, 2f are tied together with an insulating string 6 or the like. There is no problem in connecting with bolts or the like instead of binding with this insulating string. At this time, the overlapping dimension of the upper and lower covers is preferably about 5 mm or more, and if the overlapping dimension is about 5 mm or more, it is possible to prevent the operator from accidentally touching the live parts.

In the above-mentioned embodiment, the arrangement of the conductor coupling portions is linear, but other embodiments of the arrangement of the conductor coupling portions are shown in FIGS. 5 to 7. FIG. 5 shows an L-shaped arrangement, and the cutout portions of the upper and lower covers 1 and 2 may be cut out on the A and C sides according to the conductor size. Figure 6 shows an example of T-shaped arrangement, with upper and lower covers 1,
For the cutout parts 2, three sides A, B, and D are cut out in the same way as above. Figure 7 shows an example of a cross-shaped arrangement. All you have to do is cut out the four sides in the same way as above.

Further, in the above-mentioned embodiment, there is no stacking and bonding, but in FIG.
The cut portion may be cut deeper than when joining surfaces A and B in the depth direction. Note that a gap occurs between the first and second conductors, but if an insulating spacer or the like is inserted here, the conductive portion can be prevented from being exposed.
Furthermore, the same method can be applied to multi-stage stacking.

Further, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the application method is such that the device is supported by a conductor in a suspended state, but FIG. 9 shows another embodiment of the application location and support method.
In this case, the insulating cover is fixed to the support insulator, and the cutouts of both the upper and lower insulating covers 1 and 2 are A and B.
At the same time as cutting out the surface, holes are made in the lower bottom surface 2b of the lower cover 2 at positions corresponding to the mounting holes of the supporting insulator 7, and the supporting insulator 7 is inserted between the conductor 3 and the lower bottom surface 2b of the lower cover 2.
The tightening bolt 5 is then tightened.

As described above, the present invention can be applied to cases where the shape of the conductor connection is not limited to a straight line but branches in multiple directions such as L-shape, T-shape, cross shape, etc. Since arbitrary notches can be provided according to the requirements, standardization is easy and the number of types can be reduced to reduce costs.
