Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the determination of length at the time of cutting a leg portion in a water remover provided on the bottom end of a suction pipe of an oil feeding device installed on a service station, etc., by providing a scale mark for cutting on the leg portion which serves for determining a defined height position of the opening thereof. CONSTITUTION:A suction pipe 2 is provided on an oil feeding device 1 provided in the ground A of a service station. This suction pipe 2 is inserted into an underground tank 3 from an opening portion 3a and a water remover 10 is installed on the bottom end thereof. A leg portion 16 is extended downward from the bottom portion of the water remover 10 and this leg portion 16 is brought into contact with the bottom portion of the underground tank 3, to determine the height position of a flow-in port 13, or an opening. In this case, two step-portion scale marks 18, 19 as scale marks for cutting are formed on the leg portion 16. Due to the bottom end portion 20 and the step-portion scale marks 19, 18 of the leg portion 16, the height H1-H3 of the flow-in port 13 from the bottom portion of the underground tank 3 can be determined as, e.g., 150mm, 120mm, 100mm.
