Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve a cleaning quietly and efficiently with a saving of power by controlling the number of revolutions of a motor for driving a fan provided on a body and that of a motor for a rotary brush of a floor surface suction device provided thereon by a signal from a photodetecting part provided in an air path through which dust flows. CONSTITUTION: As dirts pass through a tip pie 28, light is intercepted from a light emitting element 31 provided in the pipe 28 to keep light from entering a light emitting element 32. This condition is captured by a dirt detection circuit 35 and a signal is sent to a phase control circuit 33 to apply a voltage to a motor 25 for driving a fan through a bidirectional thyristor 34 so that the number of revolutions of the motor rises from a normal low number when no dirt exists. After the passage of the dirts, the number of revolutions returns to the normal number again. At this point, since a motor 23 for a rotary brush is connected in parallel to the motor 25 for driving the fan and in series to the bidirectional thyristor 34, the numbers of revolutions of the motors 23 and 25 rise or fall simultaneously with the passage of the dirts.

When dust is detected by the LEDlo and the phototransistor 11 provided in the hand control unit 3, the phase control circuit 8
A signal is sent to the motor 6, a voltage is applied to the motor 6 through the bidirectional thyristor 9, and the rotation speed of the motor 6 automatically increases and decreases again after the dust has passed. Further, by operating the variable resistor 7, the rotation speed of the motor 6 can be changed in the same manner.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the above-mentioned conventional configuration, the rotary brush motor 2 moves at a constant rotation even when the rotation speed of the motor 6 is small. The suction tool 1 had a drawback of high noise. Furthermore, power consumption was also wasted. Furthermore, as shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-213030, which is another conventional example, merely displaying the passage of dust does not improve the actual usability.

Effect This effect is as follows. When no dust is being sucked in, the motor rotation speed is low, and the rotation speed of the motor for the 9-rotation brush of the floor suction device is also reduced, resulting in less power consumption and quieter operation. It is. Furthermore, efficient cleaning and the effect of not damaging the object can also be achieved.

At this time, if the switch 3o, which controls the rotary brush motor 23 of the floor suction tool 21, is set to ○N, the rotary brush motor 23 starts rotating. Here, since the rotary brush motor 23 is connected in parallel with the fan drive motor 25 and in series with the bidirectional thyristor 34, the rotational speed of both motors 23 and 25 decreases due to the passage of dust. It goes up and down at the same time.
