The so-called header type heat exchanger has been provided and is in the limelight. Such a header type heat exchanger has an advantage that it can be made more compact and lighter than a serpentine type heat exchanger.

The tube (1) is connected to both ends of the tube, and a single-sided or double-sided brazing sheet is formed into a tubular shape such that both side edge portions (3c) (3c) of the brazing sheet are in an abutting shape. Further, a hollow molded pipe brazed to the side edge portions (3c) (3c) is used. The upper and lower ends of the headers (3) and (4) are closed by upper lids (5) and (5) and lower lids (6) and (6), respectively. The upper lids (5), (5) are formed in a cap shape having a peripheral wall (5a) projecting downward at the peripheral edge, and brazed in a state where they are fitted onto the headers (3), (4) properly. As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, it is formed into a cap shape having an upwardly projecting peripheral wall (6a) at the peripheral edge and a downwardly projecting locking projection (6b) at the center. The headers (3) and (4) are joined and integrated by brazing in a state where they are fitted onto the lower ends of the headers (3) and (4). The lower lid body (6) can be easily manufactured by pressing a single-sided or double-sided brazing sheet. Manufacturing by press working in this manner is advantageous because productivity can be improved. In addition,
Instead of the lid (6), as shown in FIG. 6, it has a peripheral wall portion (60a) projecting upward at the periphery and a solid locking projection (60b) projecting downward at the center. A cap body (60) formed in a cap shape may be used. The protrusion (6b) is for mounting the heat exchanger on the vehicle body or the like. Has been done. The inlet / outlet pipes (9) and (10) are formed in a corresponding shape in which the header contact surface on the insertion end side is in contact with the headers (3) and (4), and can be easily positioned in the temporary assembled state, and By increasing the contact area with the headers (3) and (4), the connection can be made more firmly. Further, a partition plate (11) that divides the header (3) into two upper and lower chambers is provided at a substantially middle portion in the vertical direction of the left header (3), while it is below the middle portion in the vertical direction of the right header (4). A partition plate (11) is also provided at the position,
The refrigerant thus flowing into the left header (3) from the refrigerant inlet pipe (9) circulates in a meandering manner over all the refrigerant flow passages constituted by the tube group and flows out from the refrigerant outlet pipe (10). As shown in FIG. 5, heat is exchanged with the air flowing through the air flow gap including the corrugated fins (2) formed between the tubes (1), and the heat is condensed. It should be noted that (12) and (13) shown in FIG. 1 are upper and lower side piles arranged outside the outermost corrugated fin (2).

That is, as the header constituent member, a pipe material in which the inner surface of the aluminum pipe (3a) is coated with the brazing material layer (3b) is prepared. This tubing is a brazing sheet in which both sides or one side of an aluminum plate (3a) is coated with a brazing material layer (3b), so that the side edges (3c) (3c) of the brazing sheet are in abutting shape. A hollow molded pipe molded into a shape is preferably used. As the brazing material layer (3b), an Al-Si alloy having a Si content of about 6 to 13 wt% is generally used. Next, tube insertion holes (14) are provided in a row along the length of the pipe at predetermined intervals. The insertion hole (14) is preferably formed by forming it beforehand at a predetermined position of the brazing jig before the above-mentioned molding process.

Set. On the other hand, as the corrugated fins (2), those also made of a brazing sheet are prepared, and the fins (2), the side plates (12) and (13) and other parts are set in a predetermined arrangement state and temporarily assembled. The heat exchanger assembly thus manufactured is collectively brazed by vacuum brazing or the like.
After such brazing, the upper and lower lids (5) (6)

器としても良い。The condenser (A) manufactured as described above is arranged in parallel with the radiator (B), as shown in FIG. 7, for example, and is associated with the lower lid (6) of the condenser (A). The stopper projection (6b) is fitted into the locking hole (8a) of the vibration isolating rubber material (8) mounted on the mounting plate (7) of the vehicle body, and the lower tank portion (15) of the radiator (B) is also fitted. The locking projection (15a) formed on the lower end of the vehicle to project downward is fitted into the locking hole (8a) of the vibration isolating rubber material (8) also mounted on the mounting plate (7) of the vehicle body. . The upper side plate (12) of the condenser (A) and the central portion of the upper tank (16) of the radiator (B) are separated by a predetermined distance via a connecting bracket (17). It is fixed to an appropriate place on the vehicle body through the bracket (17). In the illustrated embodiment, the lids (6) and (6) having the same structure are fixed to the lower ends of the left and right headers (3) and (4), but two such lids are always required. However, the heat exchanger may be a single heat exchanger depending on the mounting manner of the heat exchanger on the vehicle body or the like.

できる。As described above, in the heat exchanger according to the present invention, the cap-shaped lid body having the downwardly projecting locking projection is attached to the lower end of the header, and the projection is fitted to the corresponding locking side of the mounting side. Since it can be attached to the vehicle body or the like by being locked in the hole, a separate component such as a bracket becomes unnecessary, and it becomes unnecessary to separately attach the bracket or the like to the header. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the number of parts of the heat exchanger as a whole, simplify the parts management, assembling work, manufacturing process, etc., and reduce the parts cost, which leads to efficient production of a cheap and lightweight heat exchanger. Can be provided.

Since the lid is attached to the external fitting state, it is not necessary to use a special opening preventing means for preventing the opening when the abutting portion of the header is joined. Therefore, the assembling and manufacturing process can be further simplified.
