Molds and the like propagated in plastic kitchen utensils are not completely removed even if they are washed with a special detergent, and thus re-growth occurs immediately. In addition, once mold or the like has adhered to the plastic kitchen utensils, discoloration may occur even if the plastic kitchen utensils are sterilized and removed. Will be damaged.

This is achieved by a kitchen article made of plastics characterized by. The silver ion-containing soluble glass is preferably in the form of particles dispersed in the base plastic material in order to prevent stability during processing and escape from the resin layer. It may be contained in the constituent resin material. That is, the kitchen article made of plastics is composed of the kitchen article forming resin material 3 in which the silver ion-containing soluble glass particles 2 are mixed, as schematically shown in FIG.

It is a general term for glass whose composition has been adjusted in consideration of its characteristics, and is already known per se. Therefore, in a silver ion-containing soluble glass to which a silver compound is added, silver ions can be eluted at a constant rate determined over an arbitrary period of several hours to several years. Then, the eluted silver ions exert an antibacterial action against mold and other bacteria.

Here, if the particle size is 200 μm or more, the particles are not uniformly dispersed in the forming material. The content is preferably 0.005% to 15% by weight. If it is 0.05% or less, the antibacterial effect of silver ions becomes insufficient, and if it is 15% by weight or more, it becomes difficult to mix it into the forming material,

FIG. 2 shows an example of a molding method when the plastic kitchen utensil according to the present invention is applied as a trough. In FIG. 2, reference numerals 10 and 11 denote molds, respectively, and the molds are combined to form a molding chamber for trough molding.
Twelve are configured. The mold 10 is provided with a resin injection port 13, a nozzle 14 of an injection molding machine is connected to the resin injection port 13, and the resin injection port 13 is used to form a molding chamber.
Resin is injected into 12 in an injection manner.

A predetermined amount is injected into the molding chamber 12, and then the resin material 4 not containing the glass is injected into the molding chamber 12, so that the resin material 3 is pushed by the resin material 4 and the soluble glass containing silver ions is the surface layer of the tub. Therefore, the core material 4 is first placed in the molding chamber 12 and then the resin material 3 containing the silver ion-containing soluble glass is taken into consideration in order to save the resin material containing the glass. Is uniformly distributed over the entire molding chamber 12, and as shown in FIG. 3, a tub whose surface layer portion is made of a resin material 3 containing the silver ion-containing soluble glass 2 is manufactured.

Since the glass is an inorganic substance, even if it comes into contact with food or tableware,
This only produces an antibacterial action, is completely harmless to the human body, does not disperse, and semi-permanently produces an antibacterial action.

Since mold and sterilization are prevented from breeding on the surface layer, the plastic kitchen utensils are hygienic, and they do not require a lot of nerves for cleaning, so they are healthy for a long time. Can be used for. Since the soluble glass containing silver ions used in the kitchen articles made of plastics according to the present invention is an inorganic substance, even if it comes into contact with food, it will only cause an antibacterial action and will not affect the human body. It is completely harmless, does not disperse, and has a semipermanent antibacterial action, so a safe antibacterial action is semipermanently obtained.
