Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit a subscriber waiting for a call to hear information which he himself selects so as to effectively use waiting time by permitting a telephone exchange to transmit information corresponding to a pressing key dial signal to the subscriber in the middle of waiting. CONSTITUTION:When SUB 2 and SUB 1 are connected by a channel switch (SW) 4 while SUB 1 and SUB 3 are in the mist of a call, SUB 3 hears a waiting tone through SW 4 and a waiting trunk 6. When SUB 3 transmits the pressing key dial signal (PB signal) which is previously decided in such a state, the PB signal is received in a pressing key dial signal receiver 8 through SW 4 and it is transferred to CPU 5. The CPU connection-changes the path of SW 4 to a path (e), connects SUB 3 to an information trunk (IFT) 7, controls IFT 7 and connects it to the service device WF 10 of weather forecast information corresponding to the PB signal, for example.

を制御して上記のPB信号に対応するサービス装置(例
えばWF10)に接続させる。そしてWF10からの天
気予報情報はIFT7,SW4を介してSUB3へ送出
される。
