Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve quality and yield by suppressing the vibration of a plated steel strip and controlling the galvanization amt. A galvanization amt. controlling gas is blown from a lower nozzle 5 of the dies 4 and 4a over the entire width of the steel strip 1. A gas is blown horizontally or downwardly over the whole width of the galvanized steel strip 1 from a nozzle 6. A hydrostatic pressure 7 is produced between both gases, hence the vibration of the steel strip 1 is suppressed, and the galvanization amt. is controlled. The variance in the galvanization amt. is reduced in this way.
