2. Description of the Related Art Generally, soil in which plants such as turf are planted has poor drainage and a large amount of rainfall causes water pools on the soil surface, which adversely affects plant growth. Therefore, various proposals have hitherto been made to improve the drainage property of soil. However, in the present situation, it is still insufficient in terms of having water drainage properties and water retention properties, and supplying water necessary for plant growth during drying.

As described above, according to the present invention, the soil layer is laminated on the plastic honeycomb, and the water-permeable nonwoven fabric is arranged on the upper surface of the plastic honeycomb. Since the water can enter and be stored there, the drainage can be improved, and it is possible to prevent the formation of a water pool on the ground. Further, since water is stored in the plastic honeycomb in this way, the ground will not be significantly dried even if there is no rain for a while. Further, since the plastic face plate having a plurality of through holes is arranged on the lower surface of the plastic honeycomb, the water in the plastic honeycomb is gradually discharged through the through holes, so that the water will be dispersed in the plastic honeycomb. Never. Therefore, according to the present invention, drainage and water retention can be enhanced.

The structure of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of an example of the soil structure for growing plants of the present invention. In FIG. 1, a plastic honeycomb 2 is arranged on a soil floor 1, and a soil layer 3 is laminated on the plastic honeycomb 2. Plants 4 are planted in the soil layer 3. As shown in FIG. 2, the plastic honeycomb 2 is composed of a plurality of honeycomb-shaped cores 5 formed in a polygonal shape such as a quadrangle or a hexagon in a plan view. The material of the plastic honeycomb 2 is a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which contains carbon black or an ultraviolet ray deterioration preventing agent in order to improve weather resistance. Etc. may be added. The plastic honeycomb 2 has, for example, a thickness (height) of 10 mm to 200 m.
m, core side wall thickness 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm, core size (distance between one core side wall and core side wall opposite to this core side wall) 0.5 to 40 mm, and specific gravity 0.01 to 0.10.

A water-permeable nonwoven fabric 6 is arranged on the upper surface of the plastic honeycomb 2, that is, the surface in contact with the soil layer 3. The non-woven fabric 6 is obtained by, for example, placing a non-woven fabric made of polyester on the plastic honeycomb 2 made of polypropylene, and heat-bonding it with a hot plate heated to 150 ° C. from the upper surface and press-bonding it. By disposing this nonwoven fabric 6, it is possible to prevent earth and sand from the soil layer 3 from falling into the plastic honeycomb 2, and it is possible for water from the soil layer 3 to enter the plastic honeycomb 2.

A plastic face plate 7 is arranged on the lower surface of the plastic honeycomb 2, that is, the surface contacting the soil floor 1. The plastic face plate 7 is, for example, one in which a polypropylene film is melted by a heating roll and simultaneously pressed against the lower surface of the polypropylene plastic honeycomb 2 to be pressure bonded. The plastic face plate 7 has a plurality of through holes 8 penetrating from the front surface to the back surface. The through holes 8 may be provided in about 10 to 90% of the surface area of the plastic face plate 7. The material of the plastic face plate 7 may be the same as that of the plastic honeycomb 2. Further, in order to arrange the plastic face plate on the lower surface of the plastic honeycomb 2, for example, both may be fused. The thickness of this plastic face plate is 20μ
It is about m to 5 mm.
