Reference numeral 1 denotes the main body of the air conditioner, which is embedded in the upper part of the ceiling plate 2 and is attached to an upper beam (not shown) or the like by means of hanging bolts 3. 4 is a panel attached to the main body 1 and exposed on the ceiling. A suction port 5 is provided below the central portion of the panel 4, and a blower 6 is installed in the main body 1 near the suction port 5, and draws indoor air from the suction port 5 as shown by the arrow. The air is blown out toward the side of the main body 1. A heat exchanger 7 is installed on the blowing side, and heat is exchanged between the heat medium circulating in the heat exchanger 7 and the blown air.

The panel 4 also has an air outlet 8 at a position corresponding to the side of the main body 1, and a louver 9 for adjusting the wind direction is attached to the air outlet 8 to direct the air that has passed through the heat exchanger 7 into the room. The blowout direction is adjustable. Reference numeral 10 indicates a blower mounting plate on which the blower 6 is mounted and isolates its suction side and outlet side, and 11 is a drain tray for the heat exchanger 7.

In the above air conditioner, if the louver 9 is tilted downward toward the outer periphery as shown in the figure, the wind direction at the outlet 8 will follow the tilt, and the air-conditioned space in the room will be expanded. Then, by rotating it as shown by the arrow to adjust its direction, the air-conditioned space can be adjusted.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in the above air conditioner, the air conditioned space is expanded by changing the direction of the air using a louver installed at the outlet, so the degree of expansion is not too large. There was also the problem that if the wind direction was changed significantly using a louver, the wind power loss would increase and the distance traveled would be shortened.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides an inlet which is located below the central part of the main body embedded in the upper part of the ceiling board and which takes in air from the room, and a Air passages that branch from the mouth toward both sides of the main body and communicate with the interior at the lower sides of the both sides, and are installed on the main body with a space between the air passages and the indoor room at the lower parts of the both sides of the air passages. A blower mounting plate, which is a plate-shaped member with an air vent opening into the room and slopes upward from the center side of the main body toward the side, and the air blowing side is connected to the air vent. Heat is exchanged between a blower attached to the inside of the main body of each blower mounting plate and blowing air toward the air port, and the sucked air and the circulating heat medium between the suction port and each blower. Equipped with a heat exchanger.

(Function) According to the present invention, each blower is connected to the blower mounting plate by connecting the air outlet of the blower mounting plate, which is inclined upward from the center side of the main body to the side, and the air outlet side of the blower. The air blower is installed inside the main body, and the air blowing direction is inclined in a direction that spreads downward to both sides with respect to the installation position of the air conditioner due to the above-mentioned slope of the blower mounting plate. The indoor air sucked in from below is heat-exchanged by a heat exchanger, and is blown into the room from the blowing side of each blower in the air blowing direction.

(Effect of the invention) As explained above, according to the invention, the blower is installed near the outlet on both sides of the air passage of the air conditioner, and the air blowing direction of the blower is adjusted to the direction in which the air conditioner is installed. Since the air blower is tilted in a direction that extends downward to both sides, the air-conditioned space can be appropriately expanded without changing the direction of the air blown from the air blower externally. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate the wind power loss caused by changing the direction of the wind externally, and the efficiency of the air passage is improved.
