Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable serial communication of a room unit without necessity of wiring of exclusive communication line such as an indoor/outdoor communication line by substituting a cooling medium pipe for the indoor/outdoor communication line. CONSTITUTION:An electrically insulating joint is inserted in both connecting surfaces of a gas refrigerant pipe 8 and a liquid refrigerant pipe 9 made of electrically conductive material and arranged between a room unit 1 and an outdoor unit 2, and an operation controller 5 on the room unit 1 side transmits operation data such as operation mode and set temperature of the room unit 1 from a room unit side wiring 11 through the gas refrigerant pipe 8 and the liquid refrigerant pipe 9 to another operation controller 7 on the outdoor unit 2 side by means of an outdoor unit side wiring 12. Contrarily, the operation controller 7 on the outdoor unit side transmits coded operation data of the outdoor unit 2 from the outdoor unit side wiring 12 through the gas refrigerant pipe 8 and the liquid refrigerant pipe 9 to the operation controller 5 on the room unit side, whereby desired control can be obtained. The refrigerant used here should be electrically insulative.

は室外機内の熱交換器、(5)は室内機の運転データお
よび室外機からの運転データを受けて室内機の運転制御
を行う運転制御器、(6)は室内機と室外機間の運転デ
ータ通信を行うための室内外連絡線、(7)は室外機の
運転データおよび室内機からの運転データを受けて室外
機の運転制御を行う運転制御器、(8)は室内機と室外
機とを連通ずるガス冷媒管、(9)は同じく液冷媒管で
ある。

ことにより、運転制御器(5)がコード化された運転デ
ータを処理することで分離型空気調和機が全体として機
能を果すことになる。

しては、例えば特開昭62−108948号公報に示さ
れたものがあり、この手段としては室内機と室外機間に
接続された電力配線を介して制御信号を高周波重畳して
送受信させることにより専用の通信線を不要にしている

なくして室内機と室外機のシリアル通信ができる分離型
空気調和機を得ることを目的とする。

の(lO)は室内機(1)と室外機(2)との間に配設
された導電性材料からなるガス冷媒管(8)と液冷媒管
(9)の両接続端に介挿された電気絶縁ジヨイント、 
(11)は室内機側の運転制御器(5)と室内機側の各
冷媒配管端とを接続する配線、(12)は室外機側の運
転制御器(7)と室外機側の各冷媒配管端とを接続する
配線、(13)はそれぞれの接続端子である。

ようになっている。そして使用される冷媒は電気絶縁性
のものが使用される。

[発明の効果] この発明の分離型空気調和機の運転制御装置では、以上
のように室内外連絡線を冷媒配管で代替させているので

用と手間の節約になり、また鼠等による室内外連絡線の
断線の可能性がなくなるため、信頼性が向上するという
効果がある。
