ロストワックス鋳造処理用の樹脂金型を作成するためのレーザ溶接処理によって組み立てられる少なくとも2つの樹脂部品であって、上面と、側面と、前記上面と前記側面との間のエッジ部分であって、前記エッジ部分は、前記上面から外側に突出する突出部分を含む、エッジ部分と、を含む第1の樹脂部品と、上面と、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記側面と嵌合する側面と、第2の樹脂部品の前記上面と前記第2の樹脂部品の前記側面との間のエッジ部分であって、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記エッジ部分は、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記上面から外側に突出する突出部分を含み、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分は、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記突出部分と嵌合して単一バンプの連続面上にシームラインを有する前記単一バンプを形成し、前記単一バンプは、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記上面及び前記第2の樹脂部品の前記上面から外側に突出する、エッジ部分と、を含む前記第2の樹脂部品と、を備える少なくとも2つの樹脂部品。

Claims (13)
- ロストワックス鋳造処理用の樹脂金型を作成するためのレーザ溶接処理によって組み立てられる少なくとも2つの樹脂部品であって、
上面と、
側面と、
前記上面と前記側面との間のエッジ部分であって、前記エッジ部分は、前記上面から外側に突出する突出部分を含む、エッジ部分と、
を含む第1の樹脂部品と、
上面と、
前記第1の樹脂部品の前記側面と嵌合する側面と、
第2の樹脂部品の前記上面と前記第2の樹脂部品の前記側面との間のエッジ部分であって、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記エッジ部分は、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記上面から外側に突出する突出部分を含み、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分は、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記突出部分と嵌合して単一バンプの連続面上にシームラインを有する前記単一バンプを形成し、前記単一バンプは、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記上面及び前記第2の樹脂部品の前記上面から外側に突出する、エッジ部分と、
を含む前記第2の樹脂部品と、
を備える少なくとも2つの樹脂部品。 - 前記第1の樹脂部品の前記突出部分は、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記上面及び前記第1の樹脂部品の前記側面から外側に突出し、
前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分は、前記樹脂部品の前記上面から外側に突出し、前記樹脂部品の前記側面から窪む、請求項1に記載の少なくとも2つの樹脂部品。 - 前記第1の樹脂部品と前記第2の樹脂部品との間の溶接シームの寸法は、少なくとも、-0.001インチ~0.004インチの範囲の溶接シームクリアランス、0.015インチ~0.100インチの範囲の溶接シームオーバーラップ厚さ、または、15~75度の範囲の溶接シーム溶接角度によって規定される、請求項1に記載の少なくとも2つの樹脂部品。
- 前記第1の樹脂部品と前記第2の樹脂部品との間のクリアランス値は、少なくとも、0.001インチ~0.011インチの範囲の部品間クリアランス、または、0%~100%の範囲の部品クリアランス結合剤領域によって規定される、請求項1に記載の少なくとも2つの樹脂部品。
- 前記単一バンプの寸法は、少なくとも、0.002インチ~0.010インチの範囲を有するシームバンプ高さ、または、0.030インチ~0.100インチの範囲を有するシームバンプ幅によって規定される、請求項1に記載の少なくとも2つの樹脂部品。
- 前記第1の樹脂部品および前記第2の樹脂部品は、ポリスチレンプラスチックで構成される、請求項1に記載の少なくとも2つの樹脂部品。
- ロストワックス鋳造処理用の樹脂金型を作成するために少なくとも2つの樹脂部品を組み立てる方法であって、
上面、側面、及び前記上面と前記側面との間のエッジ部分を含む第1の樹脂部品を提供することであって、前記エッジ部分は、前記上面から外側に突出する第1の突出部分を含む、提供することと、
上面と、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記側面と嵌合する側面と、第2の樹脂部品の前記上面と前記第2の樹脂部品の前記側面との間のエッジ部分とを含む前記第2の樹脂部品を提供することであって、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記エッジ部分は、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記上面から外側に突出する突出部分を含み、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分は、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記突出部分と嵌合する、提供することと、
前記第1の樹脂部品の前記側面と前記第2の樹脂部品の側面とが対向するように、前記第1の樹脂部品と前記第2の樹脂部品とを位置決めすることと、
少なくとも、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記突出部分又は前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分にレーザを照射して、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記上面及び前記第2の樹脂部品の前記上面から外側に突出する単一バンプの連続面を有するシームラインを有する前記単一バンプを形成するレーザ溶接処理を実行することと、
を含む方法。 - 前記第1の樹脂部品の前記突出部分と前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分との間のシーム面は、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記側面と前記第2の樹脂部品の側面との間のシーム面に対して、前記第2の樹脂部品の側に傾斜しており、レーザは、前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分の表面に向けられている、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記レーザの焦点距離は170~200mmの範囲内であり、前記焦点距離は、レーザ装置のガルバノメータの面から、少なくとも、前記第1の樹脂部品の前記突出部分または前記第2の樹脂部品の前記突出部分の表面まで測定される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の樹脂部品と前記第2の樹脂部品との間の溶接シームは、前記シームラインを作成するために溶接される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記レーザは、前記溶接シーム上を通過する間に溶接パターンを繰り返し、部分的に重なり合い且つ前記溶接シームに沿って配置された前記溶接パターンは、複数の円を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 溶接時間は、前記レーザのクロック速度、及び、前記レーザが前記第1の樹脂部品及び前記第2の樹脂部品の上を通過する回数に依存し、前記溶接時間は、溶接開始から溶接停止までの時間から、ワークピースのロードに必要な任意の時間を引いた時間である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記レーザは、1900~2100ナノメートルの波長を有する、請求項10に記載の方法。
