Claims (18)
- 一酸化窒素ガスを生成するように構成された一酸化窒素発生器と、
前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流に配置されて少なくとも二酸化窒素(NO 2 )を取り除く捕集剤と、
前記一酸化窒素ガスを患者に送達するように構成された吸気ライン上に配置され、前記一酸化窒素ガスから粒子を濾過して前記吸気ラインを介して前記粒子の吸入を防止するように構成されたフィルタと、
前記一酸化窒素発生器及び1つ又は複数のセンサと通信し、前記1つ又は複数のセンサからの情報を用いて、前記一酸化窒素発生器のタイミングおよびスパーク特性を制御する電気信号を前記一酸化窒素発生器に供給することにより、前記一酸化窒素発生器によって生成される前記一酸化窒素ガス中の一酸化窒素の量を調節するように構成された少なくとも1つのコントローラと、を備え、
前記少なくとも1つのコントローラが、1つまたは複数のセンサによって測定された二酸化窒素の濃度が所定の値を超えるかどうかを判断することで前記捕集剤の状態を監視し、その結果、前記少なくとも1つのコントローラが、前記捕集剤を交換するようユーザに指示すると共に、前記電気信号を前記一酸化窒素発生器へ供給するのを停止して一酸化窒素の生成を停止させる、
一酸化窒素(NO)を生成するための装置。 - 前記フィルタは、前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流に流れる粒子を濾過するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記フィルタが、0.22マイクロメートルを超える直径を有する粒子を濾過するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記吸気ライン上の前記フィルタは、生成された前記一酸化窒素ガスが患者に到達する前に二酸化窒素に酸化されることを低減する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記1つ又は複数のセンサは、ガスの流量、前記一酸化窒素発生器の上流の酸素濃度、
前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流の一酸化窒素濃度、及び前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流の二酸化窒素濃度のうちの少なくとも1つを測定するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流に配置された捕集剤をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記捕集剤が前記吸気ライン上に配置されている、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記吸気ライン内のガスの流量を測定するように構成され、前記吸気ライン上に配置された気道流量計をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、患者の吸気中に前記電気信号を前記一酸化窒素発生器に供給するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記吸気ラインに配置された気道流量計によって測定された流量、前記吸気ライン内の温度、呼気ライン内の温度、前記吸気ラインの圧力、及び前記呼気ラインの圧力のうちの少なくとも1つに基づいて吸気を検出するように構成される、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記一酸化窒素発生器は、前記フィルタの上流の前記吸気ライン上に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 一酸化窒素ガスを生成するように構成され、吸気ラインに連通する一酸化窒素発生器と、
前記一酸化窒素ガスを患者に送達するように構成された前記吸気ライン上に配置され、前記一酸化窒素ガスから粒子を濾過して前記吸気ラインを介して前記粒子の吸入を防止するように構成されたフィルタと、
前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流に配置され、少なくとも二酸化窒素を濾過する捕集剤と、
前記吸気ラインに連通する前記一酸化窒素発生器、1つ又は複数のセンサ、及び気道流量計と通信し、前記一酸化窒素発生器に前記一酸化窒素発生器のタイミングおよびスパーク特性を制御する電気信号を供給するように構成されたコントローラと、を備え、
前記一酸化窒素発生器のタイミングおよびスパーク特性によって前記一酸化窒素発生器によって生成される一酸化窒素濃度が決定され、
前記少なくとも1つのコントローラが、1つまたは複数のセンサによって測定された二酸化窒素の濃度が所定の値を超えるかどうかを判断することで前記捕集剤の状態を監視し、その結果、前記少なくとも1つのコントローラが、前記捕集剤を交換するようユーザに指示すると共に、前記電気信号を前記一酸化窒素発生器へ供給するのを停止して一酸化窒素の生成を停止させる、
一酸化窒素を生成するための装置。 - 前記フィルタは、前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流に流れる粒子を濾過するように構成される、請求項12に記載の装置。

前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流に配置された一酸化窒素センサ、及び前記一酸化窒素発生器の下流に配置された二酸化窒素センサを含む、請求項12に記載の装置。 - 前記気道流量計が吸気の指標を提供する、請求項12に記載の装置。
