Claims (13)
- 変色性繊維を製造する方法であって、前記方法が、
ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料を押出機、溶融ポンプおよび紡糸口金を備えた繊維製造機械に装填することであって、前記ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料が、(a)前記ポリマー材料を含む第1の原料および前記熱変色性色素材料を含む第2の原料、または(b)熱変色性色素およびポリマーの混合物として提供される、装填することと、
前記押出機を操作して前記ポリマー材料および前記熱変色性色素材料の溶融混合物を前記溶融ポンプに提供することと、
前記溶融ポンプを用いて大量の前記溶融混合物を前記紡糸口金に提供することと、
前記紡糸口金を操作して導電性コアを前記溶融混合物で被覆して、前記導電性コアの周囲に被覆層を形成し、変色性繊維を作製することと、
(i)前記変色性繊維を配置してファブリックの少なくとも一部分を形成すること、
(ii)前記変色性繊維を前記ファブリックの前記一部分に刺繍すること、または、
(iii)前記変色性繊維をパッチに配置し、前記パッチを前記ファブリックの前記一部分と連結させること、のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
前記変色性繊維の前記導電性コアが電源に接続可能であり、選択的に電流を前記導電性コアに供給して前記変色性繊維の前記被覆内の前記熱変色性色素材料を活性化させることが容易になる、方法。 - 前記繊維製造機械が、前記ポリマー材料および前記熱変色性色素材料を受ける単一のホッパーおよび単一のスクリュー押出機を含む、または、
前記繊維製造機械が、(i)前記ポリマー材料を受ける第1のホッパーおよび第1のスクリュー押出機、ならびに(ii)前記熱変色性色素材料を受ける第2のホッパーおよび第2のスクリュー押出機を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記導電性コアが金属または非金属導電性材料を含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 変色性繊維を製造する方法であって、前記方法が、
ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料を押出機、溶融ポンプおよび紡糸口金を備えた繊維製造機械に装填することであって、前記ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料が、(a)前記ポリマー材料を含む第1の原料および前記熱変色性色素材料を含む第2の原料、または(b)熱変色性色素およびポリマーの混合物として提供される、装填することと、
前記押出機を操作して前記ポリマー材料および前記熱変色性色素材料の溶融混合物を前記溶融ポンプに提供することと、
前記溶融ポンプを用いて大量の前記溶融混合物を前記紡糸口金に提供することと、
前記紡糸口金を操作して導電性コアを前記溶融混合物で被覆して、前記導電性コアの周囲に被覆層を形成し、変色性繊維を作製することであって、前記変色性繊維が第1の繊維である、ことと、
前記第1の繊維を第2の繊維と組み合わせて変色性紡ぎ糸を提供することと、を含む方法。 - 前記第2の繊維が前記第1の繊維と同じである、または前記第2の繊維が異なる変色性繊維である、または前記第2の繊維が天然繊維、合成繊維、または光起電力繊維のうちの少なくとも1つを含む非変色性繊維である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記被覆層が第1の被覆層であって、前記第2の繊維が、異なる熱変色性色素材料を有する、または前記第1の繊維上の前記第1の被覆層とは異なるポリマー材料を有する、のうちの少なくとも1つである第2の被覆層を含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性コアが複数のコアを含み、前記被覆層が前記複数のコアの周囲に、それに沿って、かつその間に配置される、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 変色性繊維を製造する方法であって、前記方法が、
ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料を押出機、溶融ポンプおよび紡糸口金を備えた繊維製造機械に装填することであって、前記ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料が、(a)前記ポリマー材料を含む第1の原料および前記熱変色性色素材料を含む第2の原料、または(b)熱変色性色素およびポリマーの混合物として提供される、装填することと、
前記押出機を操作して前記ポリマー材料および前記熱変色性色素材料の溶融混合物を前記溶融ポンプに提供することと、
前記溶融ポンプを用いて大量の前記溶融混合物を前記紡糸口金に提供することと、
前記紡糸口金を操作して導電性コアを前記溶融混合物で被覆して、前記導電性コアの周囲に被覆層を形成し、変色性繊維を作製することと、を含み、
前記変色性繊維が、蛍光物質を(i)前記被覆層内に、および/または(ii)前記被覆層と前記導電性コアとの間に配置されて含み、
前記蛍光物質が、選択的に制御可能な暗闇で光る効果を提供することを可能とするように構成される、方法。 - (i)前記紡糸口金に提供される前記溶融混合物の体積を制御して、所望の厚さで前記導電性コア上に前記被覆層を提供すること、
(ii)前記紡糸口金に通される前記導電性コアのスピードを制御して、所望の厚さで前記導電性コア上に前記被覆層を提供すること、
(iii)前記溶融混合物で前記導電性コアを被覆した後、前記変色性繊維をクエンチすること、または、
(iv)前記変色性繊維をスプール上に巻き取ること、のうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項1~3または7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記導電性コアが予め製造されたワイヤであって、前記方法が前記予め製造されたワイヤを前記紡糸口金に提供することをさらに含む、請求項1~3、7または9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 変色性繊維を製造する方法であって、前記方法が、
ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料を押出機、コア送出システム、溶融ポンプおよび紡糸口金を備えた繊維製造機械に装填することであって、前記ポリマー材料および熱変色性色素材料が、(a)前記ポリマー材料を含む第1の原料および前記熱変色性色素材料を含む第2の原料、または(b)熱変色性色素およびポリマーの混合物として提供される、装填することと、
前記押出機を操作して前記ポリマー材料および前記熱変色性色素材料の溶融混合物を前記溶融ポンプに提供することと、
前記溶融ポンプを用いて大量の前記溶融混合物を前記紡糸口金に提供することと、
前記コア送出システムにコア原料を装填することと、
前記コア送出システムを操作して(i)前記コア原料を溶融コア材料に溶融して、(ii)前記溶融コア材料を前記紡糸口金に提供することと、
前記紡糸口金を操作して導電性コアを前記溶融混合物で被覆して、前記導電性コアの周囲に被覆層を形成し、変色性繊維を作製することと、を含み、
前記紡糸口金が、前記溶融コア材料および前記溶融混合物を、コア/クラッドモノフィラメント構造を有する前記変色性繊維の形態で一緒に押し出すように構成される、複合溶融押出しパックである、方法。 - 前記被覆層が内側被覆層であり、前記方法がさらに、異なるポリマー材料または異なる熱変色性色素材料のうちの少なくとも1つを有する異なる溶融材料で前記変色性繊維を被覆して、前記内側被覆層の上に外側被覆層を形成することを含む、請求項1~3、7、9または10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性コアが、前記紡糸口金を用いて前記溶融混合物で同時に被覆される複数の導電性コアを含み、前記溶融混合物で被覆された前記複数の導電性コアのそれぞれが個別の変色性繊維を形成し、
(i)前記個別の変色性繊維のそれぞれを個別のスプール上に個別に巻き取ること、または
(ii)前記個別の変色性繊維のそれぞれを組み合わせて変色性紡ぎ糸を提供すること、のうちの少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
