- 同心環状超音波トランスデューサ(UT1〜UT5)のアレイ(ATA)、及び
前記複数の同心環状超音波トランスデューサの最も内側のトランスデューサ内部に配置される超音波撮像装置(UID)
を備える超音波撮像及び治療装置であって、
前記超音波撮像装置に対する前記同心環状超音波トランスデューサのアレイの傾斜移動を可能にする機械的リンク(ML)を更に備え、前記超音波撮像装置が、前記同心環状超音波トランスデューサのアレイにおける超音波の伝搬方向でいう最も前方のアレイを超えて、超音波の伝搬方向の前方に延びること

- 前記電子信号生成器及び前記同心環状超音波トランスデューサは、前記焦点において、少なくとも10MPaのピーク正圧を生成するのに十分な強度レベルで前記集束超音波を生成するように構成される、請求項6又は7に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
- 前記電子信号生成器及び前記同心環状超音波トランスデューサは、前記焦点において、HIFU治療用途又は超音波薬剤送達で3MPa〜10MPaに含まれる正圧を生成するのに十分な強度レベルで前記集束超音波を生成するように構成される、請求項6又は7に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
- 前記機械的リンクの作動システム(M1)を更に備える、請求項8〜9のいずれか一項に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
- 二次元経路又は三次元経路(SP)に沿って前記集束超音波の前記焦点を操縦するよう前記電子信号生成器及び前記作動システムを駆動するように構成されるコントローラ(C)を更に備える、請求項10に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記超音波撮像装置と協働して、前記集束超音波の前記焦点を患者の被撮像解剖学的(T)標的に向けるように更に構成される、請求項11に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記超音波撮像装置により提供される画像データを受信し、前記画像データを処理して、超音波治療装置によって行われる非侵襲的な心臓治療に関連する情報を抽出し、前記情報を使用して、前記集束超音波の前記強度レベルを自動的に適合させるように更に構成される、請求項11又は12に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
- 治療に関連する情報は、キャビテーション活動についての情報を含む、請求項13に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記超音波撮像装置により提供される画像データを受信し、前記画像データを処理して、生成された超音波の焦点の位置をリアルタイムで監視し、生成された超音波の焦点が予め定義される標的領域外である場合、超音波治療装置によって行われる非侵襲的な心臓治療を停止するように更に構成される、請求項11〜14のいずれか一項に記載の超音波撮像及び治療装置。
