このような構成によれば、一方の保護壁の山状部分が、他方の保護壁の谷状部分の内側に入り込むようになっているので、保護壁の変形を確実に規制することができる。
変形例の端子金具50は、図5に示すように、一対の保護壁51A、51Bの形状が実施形態と異なる。
本明細書によって開示される技術は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような種々の態様も含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では、対向縁35A、35Bの全体が、底壁部12と垂直な線Lに対して斜めに傾いていたが、例えば、対向縁の一部のみが底壁部と垂直な線に対して斜めに傾いていても構わない。

Claims (1)
- タブ部を備える相手端子金具と接続される端子金具であって、
底壁部と、前記底壁部から立ち上がる一対の側壁部と、前記側壁部から連なり、前記底壁部と対向して配された天壁部とによって構成され、一端に前記タブ部が進入可能な開口部を有する角筒部と、
前記角筒部の内部に、前記底壁部に沿って配置された板ばね状の弾性接触片と、
前記一対の側壁部から延び、前記天壁部との間に前記タブ部の進入を許容する隙間を残して前記開口部を塞ぐように配置された一対の保護壁とを備える端子金具であって、
前記一対の保護壁が、互いに相手側の前記保護壁と対向する対向縁を有しており、
前記対向縁が、前記底壁部に対して垂直な線に対して角度をなして延びる部分を有しており、
前記一対の保護壁のうち一方の保護壁に備えられる前記対向縁が、全長にわたって、前記底壁部に対して垂直な線に対して斜めに傾いており、
前記一対の保護壁のうち他方の保護壁に備えられる前記対向縁が、全長にわたって、前記底壁部に対して垂直な線に対して斜めに傾いているとともに、前記一対の保護壁の前記対向縁に対して平行に延び、前記一対の保護壁の前記対向縁に倣うように傾斜している、端子金具。
