Claims (20)
- 第1の波長光の源と、
前記光を走査する少なくとも1つのビーム偏向器と、
少なくとも1つの格子層に配置されている多数の切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素を含み、各前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素はそれぞれ所定の範囲の出力方向に光を回折させるように動作する、送信機導波路と、
受信機導波路と、
前記受信機導波路と光学的に結合されている検出器と
を含む導波路センサーであって、
前記ビーム偏向器は、前記送信機導波路と光学的に結合されており、前記送信機導波路に結合されている走査光が前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素の前記所定の範囲の出力方向を中心として角度掃引を実行するように構成されており、
前記受信機導波路は、少なくとも1つの格子層に配置されている多数の切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素を含み、各前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素は、外部点から反射され、それぞれ所定の角度範囲内で全反射(TIR)経路に入射した光を、前記検出器に回折させ、
前記送信機導波路の前記多数の切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素と、前記受信機導波路の前記多数の切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素とは、順次、活性状態に切り替わる、
導波路センサー。 - 前記送信機導波路又は前記受信機導波路のうち少なくとも1つにおける前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素は、二次元アレイの要素である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路又は前記受信機導波路のうち少なくとも1つにおける前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素は、一次元アレイの要素である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路又は前記受信機導波路のうち少なくとも1つにおける前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素は、前記導波路の伝搬方向と直角に整列されたより長い寸法を有する長形要素である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路又は前記受信機導波路のうち少なくとも1つにおける前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素は、回折状態と非回折状態とを電気的に切り替え可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路又は前記受信機導波路のうち少なくとも1つにおける前記切り替え可能ブラッグ格子要素は、前記導波路によって変化する表面積又はアスペクト比のうち少なくとも1つを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記受信機導波路及び前記送信機導波路は重複する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路及び前記受信機導波路は各々、少なくとも2つの異なる、格子ベクトルを有する格子要素を含み、前記格子ベクトルは、ブラッグ縞に垂直なベクトルである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路又は前記受信機導波路のうち少なくとも1つは、第1角度範囲で動作する第1格子層と、前記第1角度範囲とは異なる第2角度範囲で動作する第2格子層と、を少なくとも含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路又は前記受信機導波路のうち少なくとも1つは、導波路面上でビームを偏向させる折り畳み式格子を含む少なくとも1つの格子層を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記送信機導波路及び前記受信機導波路は、少なくとも1つの格子層に配置されている多数の格子要素を含む単一の導波路に組み合わせられており、前記各要素は、所定の範囲の出力方向に前記光を回折させるように動作しており、前記各要素は、外部点から反射され、所定の角度範囲内でTIR経路に入射した光を、前記検出器に回折させる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 三次元ポイントクラウドを検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- プリズム、格子、切り替え可能格子のうちの1つによって、又はエッジ結合を介して、前記ビーム偏向器と前記送信機導波路との間の結合を行う、請求項1に記載の装置。

- 導波路ヘッドマウントディスプレイ(HMD)又は導波路視標追跡装置のうち少なくとも1つを形成するスタック内に層を形成する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記源と前記送信機導波路との間、及び前記検出器と前記受信機導波路との間に光学経路を与えるビーム分割器を更に含む、請求項12に記載の装置。
