Description
図1は、第1実施形態の車両用前照灯システムの構成を示す図である。図1に示す車両用灯具システムは、光源1、平行光学系2、液晶素子3、駆動回路4、制御部5、投射光学系6を含んで構成されている。各構成要素は、例えば筐体7に収容されている。この車両用前照灯システムは、自車両の周囲に存在する前方車両や歩行者等の位置に対応して、前方車両等の位置を含む一定範囲を非照射範囲に設定し、それ以外の範囲を光照射範囲に設定して選択的な光照射を行うためのものである。
図4は、第2実施形態の車両用前照灯システムの構成を示す図である。図4に示す車両用灯具システムは、光源1a、平行光学系2、2つの液晶素子3a、駆動回路4、制御部5、投射光学系6、偏光ビームスプリッター8、蛍光体9を含んで構成されている。各構成要素は、例えば筐体7に収容されている。

Claims (4)
- 自車両の前方に対して選択的な光照射を行うための車両用灯具システムであって、
光源と、
電圧無印加時に透過率又は反射率が相対的に低いノーマリークローズ型であり、前記光源からの光を用いて像を形成する液晶素子と、
前記液晶素子を駆動する駆動回路と、
前記光源が消灯状態であるか否かを判定し、当該光源が消灯状態である場合に前記液晶素子を透過状態又は反射状態に駆動させるように前記駆動回路を制御する制御部と、
を含む、車両用前照灯システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記自車両が稼働中であるか否かを更に判定し、当該自車両が稼働中かつ前記光源が消灯状態である場合に前記液晶素子を透過状態又は反射状態に駆動させるように前記駆動回路を制御する、
請求項1に記載の車両用灯具システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記自車両の走行スイッチの状態に基づいて前記自車両が稼働中であるか否かを判定する、
請求項2に記載の車両用灯具システム。 - 前記制御部は、前記自車両の車速に基づいて前記自車両が稼働中であるか否かを判定する、
請求項2に記載の車両用灯具システム。
