Claims (6)
- ベッド上に主軸台と刃物台とを搭載した工作機械であって、
前記主軸台と前記刃物台は、主軸の直径方向であるX軸方向と前記主軸の軸方向であるZ軸方向とに相対的に移動可能であり、
X軸方向において、前記主軸台の上側と前記刃物台の上側との間に架け渡され、X軸方向の位置情報を検出するためのリニアスケールと、
前記リニアスケールのZ軸方向の移動を案内するZ軸方向に延設されたレールとを備えており、
前記主軸台と前記刃物台がZ軸方向に相対的に移動するときに、前記リニアスケールは、前記主軸台又は前記刃物台のいずれかと一体に前記レールに案内されながらZ軸方向に移動することを特徴とする工作機械。 - 前記リニアスケールは、目盛りを有するスケールと、前記目盛りを読み取るスケール読取器とを含んでおり、X軸方向において、前記スケールの前記目盛りの測定基準位置は、前記主軸の中心軸上である請求項1に記載の工作機械。
- 前記レールは、前記主軸の中心軸上に前記中心軸に沿って延設されている請求項1又は2に記載の工作機械。
- 前記レールと前記主軸台との間に空間を有する請求項3に記載の工作機械。
- 前記リニアスケールは、X軸方向において、前記主軸台の上側と前記刃物台の上側との間に架け渡されたスケール支持板をさらに含んでおり、前記スケール支持板の下面に前記スケールが設置されている請求項2から4のいずれかに記載の工作機械。
- 前記主軸台及び前記刃物台は本体ケース内に配置されており、前記本体ケース内は、仕切り板により、加工室と非加工室とに仕切られており、前記リニアスケール及び前記レールは前記非加工室に配置されている請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の工作機械。
