Claims (6)
- 車両の乗員を撮像する撮像部と、
前記乗員側に向けて光を投射する照明部と、
前記撮像部と前記照明部の動作を制御するとともに、前記撮像部により撮像された画像に基づいて前記乗員を監視し、該監視結果を出力する制御部と、を備えた乗員監視装置において、
前記制御部が実装された第1基板と、
前記撮像部と前記照明部とが実装された第2基板と、
前記第1基板を収納する筐体と、
前記筐体の開口部を塞ぎ、前記撮像部と前記照明部とが前記乗員側を向くように前記第2基板を前記第1基板と反対側に保持する蓋体と、
前記蓋体を貫通して、前記第1基板と前記第2基板とを電気的に接続する接続配線と、
前記乗員側から前記第2基板、前記接続配線、前記蓋体、および前記筐体を覆い、前記照明部からの投射光と前記乗員からの反射光とを透過させる被水防止カバーと、をさらに備え、
前記第1基板は、前記筐体に収納されており、
前記第2基板は、前記第1基板の上方に位置するように前記蓋体に保持されており、
前記被水防止カバーは、
前記蓋体の上面を覆う水平部と、
前記水平部から上方へ突出して前記第2基板を前記乗員側および上方から覆う上突出部と、
前記水平部から垂下して前記乗員側を向いた前記蓋体と前記筐体の各側面の隙間を覆う垂下部と、を有していることを特徴とする乗員監視装置。 - 請求項1に記載の乗員監視装置において、
前記筐体の前記開口部は、上方に向かって開口している前記第1基板の収納口であり、
前記第1基板は、板面を横向きにして前記筐体に収納され、
前記第2基板は、板面を縦向きにして前記蓋体に保持されている、ことを特徴とする乗員監視装置。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の乗員監視装置において、
前記上突出部は、前記水平部から連続して上方へ突出しており、
前記垂下部は、前記水平部から連続して垂下している、ことを特徴とする乗員監視装置。 - 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載の乗員監視装置において、
前記被水防止カバーは、前記投射光と前記反射光とを透過させる透過部を有し、
前記透過部は平坦な板状に形成されている、ことを特徴とする乗員監視装置。 - 請求項4に記載の乗員監視装置において、
前記透過部は、前記被水防止カバーの他の部分とは別体であり、前記被水防止カバーに形成された貫通孔に嵌め込まれている、ことを特徴とする乗員監視装置。 - 請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載の乗員監視装置において、
前記筐体は、前記制御部から発せられて前記第1基板にこもった熱を放熱する放熱部を有し、
前記放熱部は、前記第1基板に対して前記第2基板と反対側に設けられ、前記被水防止カバーにより覆われていない、ことを特徴とする乗員監視装置。
