Description
本明細書で使用される用語「非晶質ロックされた」は、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)材料がPTFEの結晶融解温度を超えて加熱されたことを表すことを意味する。
試験法
繊維密度(g/cm3)= 長さ当たりの繊維重量(dtex)

各試料布のMVTRを、ISO 15496の一般的教示に従って測定したが、試料の水蒸気透過率(WVP)は、装置の水蒸気透過率(WVPapp)に基づき、かつ以下の変換式を使用して水蒸気透過率(MVTR)に変換した。
MVTR=(デルタP値×24)/((1/WVP)+(1+WVPapp値))
比較結果を確実にするために、試験前に2時間、試料を73.4±0.4°F及び50±2%rHに慣らし、水浴の水は73.4°F±0.4°Fで一定にした。
各試料のMVTRを1回測定し、その結果をg/m2/24時間として報告する。

ePTFE繊維を同数の70デニールのナイロン6,6糸で置き換えたことを除いて、実施例4aと同じ方法で比較靴下を作成した。すべてのナイロン靴下の1×6インチの布切れを上記の垂直吸い上げ試験に付した。すべてのナイロン繊維靴下は、10分後に10mmの吸い上げを示した。

- 前記少なくとも1種のさらなる非ePTFE繊維が、レーヨン、ポリエステル、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、綿、羊毛、絹、アラミド、ポリアミド、アクリル、オレフィン、スパンデックス、アラミド、難燃性綿、ポリベンズイミダゾール(PBI(登録商標))、ポリベンゾオキサゾール(PBO)、難燃性レーヨン、モダクリル混合物、カーボン、ガラス繊維、ポリアクリロニトリル(PAN)、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の織布。
