Description
水性成分は、ポリウレタン発泡体を形成するための組成物の全重量の20重量%〜80重量%を占める。例えば、水性成分は、ポリウレタン発泡体を形成するための組成物の全重量に対して、30重量%〜70重量%、40重量%〜60重量%、及び/または45重量%〜55重量%の量で存在する。水性成分は、水性成分の全重量に対して、少なくとも90重量%の水である。水に加えて、水性成分は、充填剤、溶媒、難燃剤、及び/またはポリウレタン発泡体に使用するためにその技術で知られている他の添加剤などの少なくとも1つの添加剤を含んでいてよい。
親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分は、ポリウレタン発泡体を形成するための組成物の全重量の20重量%〜80重量%を占める。例えば、親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分は、ポリウレタン発泡体を形成するための組成物の全重量に対して、30重量%〜70重量%、40重量%〜60重量%、及び/または45重量%〜55重量%の量で存在する。親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分は、イソシアネート成分及びイソシアネート反応性成分を含む、プレポリマーを形成するための組成物の反応生成物である。
親水性ポリウレタン発泡体は、反応条件下で、イソシアネート末端プレポリマーを水性成分と接触させることにより調製してよい。水性成分は主に水を含み、界面活性剤、触媒、増粘剤、着色顔料、充填剤、酸化防止剤、及び/または芳香剤などの少量の添加剤を含み得る。例示的な実施形態において、ポリウレタン発泡体は触媒の非存在下で調製される。ポリウレタン発泡体の製造において、水性混合物に対するイソシアネート末端プレポリマーの量の比は、得られるポリマーの目標密度及びその関連する物理的パラメータ及び/または組成物のイソシアネート含有量に応じて、ある範囲に亘って変化し得る。実施形態において、ポリウレタン発泡体は、20重量%〜80重量%の水性成分及び20重量%〜80重量%の親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分を含む組成物の反応生成物である。
以下の表4の以下の配合に従ってMDIプレポリマー1及びMDIプレポリマーAを使用して発泡体サンプルを調製する。
実施例1、A、及びBを以下のおおよその性質について評価する。
本願は以下の発明に関するものである。
(1)快適用途用のポリウレタン発泡体であって、
20重量%〜80重量%の水性成分及び20重量%〜80重量%の親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分を含む第1の組成物の反応生成物を含み、
前記水性成分は、前記水性成分の全重量に対して少なくとも90重量%の水を含み、
前記親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分は、1重量%〜15重量%の遊離NCO含有量を有し、イソシアネート成分及びイソシアネート反応性成分を含む第2の組成物の反応生成物であり、前記イソシアネート成分は、少なくとも90重量%のメチレンジフェニルジイソシアネート(MDI)、及び1:1より大きく10:1未満の2,4’−メチレンジフェニルイソシアネート異性体に対する4,4’−メチレンジフェニルイソシアネート異性体の重量比を有し、前記イソシアネート反応性成分は、ポリエチレングリコール及び3000g/モル〜7500g/モルの分子量及び少なくとも50重量%のポリオキシエチレン含有量を有するポリオキシプロピレン−ポリオキシエチレンポリオールを含み、前記親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分は、前記第2の組成物の全重量に対して45重量%〜75重量%のポリオキシエチレン含有量を有する、ポリウレタン発泡体。
(2)前記ポリエチレングリコールは、前記第2の組成物において主成分である、上記(1)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
(3)前記第2の組成物が、前記第2の組成物の全重量に対して40重量%〜65重量%のポリエチレングリコール、及びを含む、上記(2)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
(4)前記ポリエチレングリコールが、500g/mol〜2000g/molの数平均分子量を有する、上記(3)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
(5)前記ポリオキシプロピレン−ポリオキシエチレンポリオールが、前記第2の組成物の全重量の5重量%〜25重量%を占める、上記(4)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
(6)4.0lb/ft 3 〜9.0lb/ft 3 の密度、室温で1分間の水への浸漬後の重量変化に対して300%〜700%の水吸収、及び1.5〜3.5scfmの空気流を有する上記(5)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体から形成された層を含む枕。
(7)4.0lb/ft 3 〜9.0lb/ft 3 の密度、室温で1分間の水への浸漬後の重量変化に対して300%〜700%の水吸収、及び1.5〜3.5scfmの空気流を有する上記(5)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体から形成された層を含むマットレス。
(8)上記(1)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体を含む粘弾性発泡体製品。
(9)4.0lb/ft 3 〜9.0lb/ft 3 の密度、室温で1分間の水への浸漬後の重量変化に対して300%〜700%の水吸収、及び1.5〜3.5scfmの空気流を有する上記(1)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体から形成された層を含む枕。
(10)4.0lb/ft 3 〜9.0lb/ft 3 の密度、室温で1分間の水への浸漬後の重量変化に対して300%〜700%の水吸収、及び1.5〜3.5scfmの空気流を有する上記(1)に記載のポリウレタン発泡体から形成された層を含むマットレス。
Claims (10)
- 快適用途用のポリウレタン発泡体であって、
20重量%〜80重量%の水性成分及び20重量%〜80重量%の親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分を含む第1の組成物の反応生成物を含み、
前記水性成分は、前記水性成分の全重量に対して少なくとも90重量%の水を含み、
前記親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分は、1重量%〜15重量%の遊離NCO含有量を有し、イソシアネート成分及びイソシアネート反応性成分を含む第2の組成物の反応生成物であり、前記イソシアネート成分は、少なくとも90重量%のメチレンジフェニルジイソシアネート(MDI)、及び1:1より大きく10:1未満の2,4’−メチレンジフェニルイソシアネート異性体に対する4,4’−メチレンジフェニルイソシアネート異性体の重量比を有し、前記イソシアネート反応性成分は、ポリエチレングリコール及び3000g/モル〜7500g/モルの分子量及び少なくとも50重量%のポリオキシエチレン含有量を有するポリオキシプロピレン−ポリオキシエチレンポリオールを含み、前記親水性イソシアネート末端プレポリマー成分は、前記第2の組成物の全重量に対して45重量%〜75重量%のポリオキシエチレン含有量を有する、ポリウレタン発泡体。 - 前記ポリエチレングリコールは、前記第2の組成物において主成分である、請求項1に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
- 前記第2の組成物が、前記第2の組成物の全重量に対して40重量%〜65重量%のポリエチレングリコールを含む、請求項2に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
- 前記ポリエチレングリコールが、500g/mol〜2000g/molの数平均分子量を有する、請求項3に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
- 前記ポリオキシプロピレン−ポリオキシエチレンポリオールが、前記第2の組成物の全重量の5重量%〜25重量%を占める、請求項4に記載のポリウレタン発泡体。
- 64.1kg/m3〜144.2kg/m3の密度、室温で1分間の水への浸漬後の重量変化に対して300%〜700%の水吸収、及び2.5m3/hr〜5.9m3/hrの空気流を有する請求項5に記載のポリウレタン発泡体から形成された層を含む枕。
- 64.1kg/m3〜144.2kg/m3の密度、室温で1分間の水への浸漬後の重量変化に対して300%〜700%の水吸収、及び2.5m3/hr〜5.9m3/hrの空気流を有する請求項5に記載のポリウレタン発泡体から形成された層を含むマットレス。
- 請求項1に記載のポリウレタン発泡体を含む粘弾性発泡体製品。
- 64.1kg/m3〜144.2kg/m3の密度、室温で1分間の水への浸漬後の重量変化に対して300%〜700%の水吸収、及び2.5m3/hr〜5.9m3/hrの空気流を有する請求項1に記載のポリウレタン発泡体から形成された層を含む枕。
