すなわち、駆動電流Idsは、しきい電圧Vthの偏差と関係なくデータ電圧Vdatのサイズにより決定され得、有機発光素子ELは、しきい電圧Vthの偏差と関係なくデータ電圧Vdatに対応する明るさで発光できる。

Claims (9)
- 走査線に接続されたゲート電極、データ線に接続された一の電極、及び第1ノードに接続された他の電極を含む第1トランジスタと、
前記第1ノードに接続された一の電極及び第2ノードに接続された他の電極を含むキャパシタと、
前記第2ノードに接続されたゲート電極、第1電源電圧に接続された一の電極、及び第3ノードに接続された他の電極を含む第2トランジスタと、
補償制御線に接続されたゲート電極、前記第2ノードに接続された一の電極、及び前記第3ノードに接続された他の電極を含む第3トランジスタと、
センシング制御線に接続されたゲート電極、前記データ線に接続された一の電極、及び前記第3ノードに接続された他の電極を含む第4トランジスタと、
前記第3ノードに接続されたアノード電極及び第2電源電圧に接続されたカソード電極を含む有機発光素子と、を含む有機発光表示装置であって、
前記有機発光表示装置の単位フレーム期間は、
前記第3トランジスタをターンオンして前記第2トランジスタのしきい電圧を補償する第1補償期間と、
前記第4トランジスタをターンオンし、所定レベルのセンシング電圧により前記第2トランジスタの駆動情報をセンシングして補償データを生成する第2補償期間と、を含む有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第2トランジスタの駆動情報は、
前記センシング電圧により前記第2トランジスタに形成されるセンシング電流を、前記データ線を介してシンクし、前記データ線に形成される電圧を測定して生成される、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第2トランジスタの駆動情報は、
前記センシング電圧により前記第2トランジスタに形成されるセンシング電流を直接測定して生成される、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1補償期間中、
前記第2ノードには、前記第1電源電圧から前記第2トランジスタのしきい電圧を差し引いた電圧が充電され、
前記キャパシタには、前記データ線から供給される維持電圧と前記第2ノードに充電された電圧との電圧差に該当する電圧が充電される、請求項2〜3のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記単位フレーム期間は、
前記第1電源電圧をローレベルに設定し、前記第3ノードの電圧レベルをローレベル電圧にリセットするリセット期間と、
前記補償データによるデータ電圧を入力するデータ入力期間と、
入力されたデータにより有機発光素子を発光させる発光期間と、をさらに含む、請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第2トランジスタの駆動情報をセンシングして前記補償データを生成するセンシング部と、
前記センシング部から供給されるセンシングデータにより映像データを補償する制御部と、をさらに含む、請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1トランジスタ、前記キャパシタ、前記第2トランジスタ、前記第3トランジスタ、及び前記有機発光素子を少なくとも含む画素を2以上含む画素グループが定義され、
前記第4トランジスタは、前記画素グループに含まれる1つの画素に形成され、
前記画素グループに含まれる複数の画素は、前記第4トランジスタを共有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記第1補償期間において、前記第4トランジスタをターンオンし、前記第3ノードの電圧を測定して補償データを生成し、
前記単位フレーム期間は、
前記データ線に初期化電圧を印加し、かつ、前記第4トランジスタをターンオンして、
前記第3ノードの電圧をリセットするリセット期間と、を含む、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 走査線に接続されたゲート電極、データ線に接続された一の電極、及び第1ノードに接続された他の電極を含む第1トランジスタと、
前記第1ノードに接続された一の電極及び第2ノードに接続された他の電極を含むキャパシタと、
前記第2ノードに接続されたゲート電極、第1電源電圧に接続された一の電極、及び第3ノードに接続された他の電極を含む第2トランジスタと、
補償制御線に接続されたゲート電極、前記第2ノードに接続された一の電極、及び前記第3ノードに接続された他の電極を含む第3トランジスタと、
センシング制御線に接続されたゲート電極、前記第3ノードに接続された一の電極、及びセンシング線に接続された他の電極を含む第4トランジスタと、
前記第3ノードに接続されたアノード電極及び第2電源電圧に接続されたカソード電極を含む有機発光素子と、を含む有機発光表示装置であって、
前記有機発光表示装置の単位フレーム期間は、
前記第3トランジスタをターンオンして前記第2トランジスタのしきい電圧を補償する第1補償期間と、
前記第4トランジスタをターンオンし、所定レベルのセンシング電圧により前記第2トランジスタの駆動情報をセンシングして補償データを生成する第2補償期間と、を含む有機発光表示装置。
