Description
様々な機能性をもたらすために、様々な異なるデバイスがモバイルコンピューティングデバイスに物理的に取り付けられることがある。例えば、コンピューティングデバイスを危害から保護するために、デバイスが、コンピューティングデバイスの少なくともディスプレイデバイスのためのカバーをもたらすように構成されることがある。コンピューティングデバイスに入力を提供する入力デバイス(例えば、トラックパッドを有するキーボード)のような他のデバイスが、モバイルコンピューティングデバイスに物理的に取り付けられることもある。しかしながら、物理的取付けをサポートするために利用された従来的な技法は、良好な保護をもたらしたり、取外しの容易さをもたらしたりしたが、両方をもたらさなかった。
図1は、ここに記載する機械的取付け及び取外し技法を利用するように動作可能である例示的な実施における環境100の例示である。例示的な環境100は、回転可能なヒンジ106(蝶番)を介して保護デバイス104に物理的及び通信的に連結されるコンピューティングデバイス102の例である。保護デバイス104は、例示するようなカバー、入力デバイス(例えば、キーボード)、出力デバイス等のような、様々な方法において構成されてよい。
図12は、ここに記載する様々な技法を実施してよい1つ又はそれよりも多くのコンピューティングシステム及び/又はデバイスを代表する例示的なコンピューティングデバイス1202を含む、例示的なシステムを、概ね1200で例示している。コンピューティングデバイス1202は、例えば、使用者の1つ又はそれよりも多くの手によって把持され且つ運搬されるように形成され且つ寸法取られるハウジングの使用を通じてモバイル構成(mobile configuration)を取るように構成されてよく、その例示的な実施例は、携帯電話、携帯ゲーム及び音楽デバイス、及びタブレットコンピュータを含むが、他の実施例も想定される。
例示的な実施を構造的構成及び/又は方法論的行為に特異な言語において記載したが、付属の請求項中に定められる実施は、記載する具体的な構成又は行為に必ずしも限定されない。むしろ、具体的な構成及び行為は、請求する構成を実施する例示的な形態として開示されている。
Claims (10)
- コンピューティングデバイスが使用者の1つ又はそれよりも多くの手によって保持されるように構成されるように、モバイルフォームファクタを有する前記コンピューティングデバイスのディスプレイデバイスの少なくとも部分を覆うように構成される、カバー部分と、
該カバー部分に回転的に接続される第1の中間背骨材と、
該第1の中間背骨材に回転的に接続される第2の中間背骨材と、
該第2の中間背骨材に回転的に接続される接続部分とを含み、
該接続部分は、
前記コンピューティングデバイスのハウジングに形成される通路内に配置されるように構成され、長手軸を有する、突出部と、
該突出部の上に配置され、前記通路の部分として形成される空洞内に受け入れられるように構成され、高さを有する、突起とを用いて、
前記コンピューティングデバイスへの取り外し可能な物理的な連結を形成するように構成され、
前記突起は、前記突出部の前記長手軸に従う第1の側面と、前記突出部の前記長手軸に対して法線方向の第2の側面とを有し、前記第1の側面は、前記高さによって定められる軸からの前記第2の側面の角度よりも少ない、前記高さによって定められる前記軸からの角度を有する、
装置。 - 前記第1の中間背骨材は、フレキシブルヒンジを用いて前記カバー部分及び前記第2の中間背骨材に回転的に接続され、或いは
前記第2の中間背骨材は、フレキシブルヒンジを用いて前記第1の中間背骨材及び前記接続部分に回転的に接続される、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記突起は、前記突出部からの前記突起の高さによって定められる軸に沿って前記空洞から取り外され、且つ少なくとも1つの異なる軸に沿う動きに抗するように、構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記突起は、前記少なくとも1つの異なる軸に沿う前記動きに抗するために、前記空洞内に機械的に結合するように構成される、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記突起の高さは、1.9〜3.0ミリメートルの間である、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記高さは、約2.2ミリメートルである、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記突起及び前記突出部は、それぞれ、前記突出部からの前記突起の前記高さによって定められる前記軸に対して法線方向にあるそれぞれの軸に沿って定められる頂面と、前記高さによって定められる前記軸にほぼ従う側面とを含む、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記側面は、前記突起の前記側面の他の部分の角度よりも大きい角度を有する前記頂面に対して近位に配置される面取り面を有する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記側面は、前記高さによって定められる前記軸から約1.5度の角度を有する第1の部分を有する、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記側面は、前記高さによって定められる前記軸から約63.5度の角度を有する第2の部分を有する、請求項7に記載の装置。
