Claims (14)
- 患者の血管構造内の流体圧力をモニタリングするセンサ送達デバイスであって、
ガイドワイヤに沿って摺動するサイズである細長い管状シースであって、第1の表面を有するシースと、
センサアセンブリであって、
光ファイバセンサと、
前記センサを包囲するハウジングであって、近位穴を有する近位端部、遠位端部、前記近位端部と前記遠位端部との間の第2の表面であって、前記シースの前記第1の表面に隣接する第2の表面、および前記近位端部と前記遠位端部との間の第3の表面であって、前記第2の表面から半径方向に離間されるとともに、該第3の表面の一部に沿って第1の穴を形成している第3の表面を含むハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの上に重なる外層であって、前記第1の穴の上に重なる第3の穴を有する外層と、
前記ハウジングの前記遠位端部から少なくとも遠位方向に延在する充填材であって、遠位方向に延びるに従い、前記シースの前記第1の表面に向かって内側に先細りになる外面を有する充填材と、
前記シースの前記第1の表面に沿って延在する光ファイバであって、前記ハウジングの前記近位穴を通過し、該光ファイバの遠位端部において前記センサに隣接する光ファイバと、
を備えるセンサアセンブリと、を具備するセンサ送達デバイス。 - 前記第3の表面が、前記ハウジングの前記第2の表面と前記ハウジングの頂面との間の側面である、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記第3の表面が、前記ハウジングの前記第2の表面の反対側の前記ハウジングの外面である、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記ハウジングの前記外面が前記ハウジングの頂面である、請求項3に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記第1の穴が、前記光ファイバセンサの位置に整列される、前記ハウジングの前記第3の表面に沿う位置にある、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記第1の穴が、前記光ファイバセンサの位置の近くの、前記ハウジングの前記第3の表面に沿う位置にある、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記第3の表面が、該表面の一部に沿って第2の穴を形成している、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記センサアセンブリが、前記光ファイバセンサの検知部分を包囲する第1空洞を更に備える、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記第1の穴が前記第1空洞と流体連通している、請求項8に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記第1空洞が、前記光ファイバセンサの遠位端部と前記ハウジングの前記遠位端部との間において少なくとも部分的に形成されている、請求項8に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記充填材は、前記ハウジングの前記近位端部から近位方向に更に延びており、前記充填材の前記外面は、前記充填材が近位方向に延びるにしたがって前記シースの前記第1の表面の方に向かって内側に先細りになっている、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記外層が、前記センサアセンブリ、前記シース、及び前記光ファイバを取り囲んでいる、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記光ファイバセンサが圧力センサを具備する、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
- 前記シースが遠位スリーブを具備し、該センサ送達デバイスが前記遠位スリーブに隣接する近位部分を更に具備しており、前記光ファイバが前記近位部分内に延在しており、前記近位部分が前記ガイドワイヤから分離するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のセンサ送達デバイス。
