Claims (20)
- 電気的横隔膜刺激を通して被検者の心血管性能を改善するための完全埋込型医療システムであって、
電極構造が前記被検者の横隔膜の選択された表面領域の隣接部から前記被検者の電気的心臓活動を感知するように設計された第1モード、および前記電極構造が心周期と同期した電気的横隔膜刺激を前記表面領域の位置に発生させるように設計された第2モードで機能することを特徴とする、前記表面領域に動作接続可能な双峰型電極構造と
前記電極構造に動作接続され、前記電極構造が前記第1モードで機能している間、前記感知された電気的心臓活動を収集するように動作可能であり、かつ前記電極構造が前記第2モードで機能している間、前記電極構造に通信して横隔膜刺激を発生させるように動作可能である、電気回路構造と、
を備えたシステム。 - 心周期に同期した無症候性電気刺激を横隔膜に印加することを通して、被検者の心臓の血行動態性能を改善するための完全埋込型医療システムであって、
前記被検者の横隔膜の選択された表面領域と接触した状態で心臓と接触しない位置に配置可能であり、かつ前記選択された表面領域で識別可能な心周期の電気的活動を感知するための1つの動作モード、および前記横隔膜の前記選択された表面領域に無症候性電気刺激を印加するための別の独立した動作モードを有する、双峰型電極構造と、
前記電極構造によって感知された前記被検者の心周期の電気的活動に関する情報を前記電極構造から受信するために前記電極構造に動作接続され、前記横隔膜の二相性の尾側の後に続く頭側の運動をトリガする目的で、そのような受信された心周期の電気的活動の情報における、有効な選択された性質の心周期毎の電気的V事象の顕著な存在に対して予め定められた調時関係で、前記電極構造を介して無症候性の心周期に同期した電気刺激を前記横隔膜に送達するように動作可能である、電気回路構造と、
を備えたシステム。 - 予め定められた調時関係は、(a)次に期待される有効な心周期の電気的V事象を予想するもの、および(b)最後に感知された有効な心周期の電気的V事象を追従するもののうちの1つである、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムは、(a)単一の総合ユニットとしての自己完結型、および(b)間隔を置いて配置され連絡リード構造によって動作接続された1対の部品組立体に分散された型のうちの1つであり、前記選択された表面領域は、前記横隔膜の(a)下面および(b)上面のうちの1つに配置される、請求項2に記載のシステム。

を備えたシステム。 - 横隔膜の心周期に同期した無症候性電気刺激を通して被検者の心臓の血行動態性能を向上するための自己完結した自蔵動力型の埋込型医療システムであって、
前記横隔膜の(a)下面、および(b)上面の一方における前記心臓と接触しない選択された位置に、接触可能に配置可能な面を有するシステムカプセルと、
前記カプセルに担持され、かつ前記面上に露出され、1つのモードでは心臓に関連する電気的活動を感知し、かつ別のモードでは前記横隔膜に電気刺激を印加するように、前記横隔膜との接触を通して動作可能である、1対の間隔を置いて配置された双峰型電極と、
前記カプセル内に配置され、前記電極に動作可能に関連付けられ、前記横隔膜の機械的運動および心音の両方を感知するように動作可能である、三次元加速度計と、
