Description
本実施形態に係る非接触給電システムAは、図1に示すように、地面に埋設された給電装置S及び該給電装置Sから給電を受ける移動車両M(受電装置)を備えている。このような非接触給電システムAは、非接触給電方式の1つである磁界共鳴方式に基づいて給電装置Sから移動車両Mに電力を非接触給電する。
整流回路2は、入力端が電源1に接続され、出力端が給電回路3に接続されている。このような整流回路2は、電源1から供給される交流電力をダイオード等の整流素子により整流して直流電力に変換し、該直流電力を給電回路3に出力する。なお、電源1として太陽電池等の直流電源を使用し、整流回路2を省略(つまり直流電源から給電回路3に直流電力を供給)してもよい。
平面カバー5aの外周部よりもさらに外側に位置する側面カバー5bは、給電コイル4が発生する磁界が通過しない位置にあるので、側面カバー5bは磁界透過性材料で構成する代わりに金属製であってもよい。
給電用制御部8は、マイクロプロセッサやメモリ等を備え、所定の給電用制御プログラムに基づいて機能するソフトウエア型制御装置であり、給電装置Sを全体的に統括制御する。詳細については後述するが、このような給電用制御部8は、例えば内部の不揮発性記憶装置に記憶された制御プログラムと、受信アンプ7からの音響信号に基づいて給電回路3を制御する。
発信アンプ16は、受電用制御部18から入力される音響信号を増幅して発信器17に出力する。
平面カバー15aの外周部よりもさらに外側に位置する側面カバー15bは、受電コイル11に作用する磁界が通過しない位置にあるので、側面カバー15bは磁界透過性材料で構成する代わりに金属製であってもよい。
ボイスコイル17cは、発信用振動板17aの内面側に固定され、発信アンプ16から入力される音響信号によって駆動されて発信用振動板17aを振動させる。
最初に、非給電時における移動車両M及び給電装置Sの動作について説明する。移動車両Mの受電用制御部18は、非給電時(例えば運転手による移動車両Mの通常運転時)に、充電回路13を停止させる。一方、給電装置Sの給電用制御部8は、非給電時、つまり給電対象である移動車両Mが駐停車位置に停車していない時に、給電回路3を停止する。
周期的な音響信号の例としては、たとえば、ある音響レベル以上で0.6秒間出力し、その後0.4秒間音響レベルが0(無音)である、というパターンを1秒周期でくり返すことがあげられる。
給電装置Sの給電用制御部8は、移動車両Mからの周期的な音響信号を受信できなくなるので、給電回路3の制御を停止する。これにより、非接触給電による、給電装置Sから移動車両Mのバッテリ14への充電動作が終了する。先にあげた周期信号の例では、無音区間が0.4秒なので、0.4秒以上音響信号が受信できない場合に給電回路3の制御を停止する。
そして、運転手は、図示しない表示器等により満充電状態となったことを認識すると、移動車両Mを運転して、給電装置Sの設置場所から移動する。
給電装置Sの給電用制御部8は、移動車両Mからの周期的な音響信号を受信できなくなるので、給電回路3の制御を停止する。これにより、非接触給電による、給電装置Sから移動車両Mのバッテリ14への充電動作を終了する。先にあげた周期信号の例では、無音区間が0.4秒なので、0.4秒以上音響信号が受信できない場合に給電回路3の制御を停止する。
(a)音響を遮るような異物が4個の受信器6のいずれかの上に存在しても、異物で遮られていない受信器6を用いて音響信号の受信を継続できる。
(b)移動車両Mが左に90°ないし右に90°回った向き、ないし180°逆向きに停車した場合でも、発信器17と受信器6が正対するので、音響信号を伝えることが可能である。
(1)上記実施形態において、移動車両Mでは、平面の発信用振動板17aを用いているが、図3(a)に示すように、音響信号に指向性を持たせる形状(湾曲したへこみ形状)の発信用振動板17aを用いるようにしてもよい。同様に、給電装置Sにおいて、図3(a)に示すように、湾曲したへこみ形状の受信用振動板6aを用いるようにしてもよい。また、移動車両Mにおいて、図3(b)に示すように、平面カバー15a全体の領域に発信用振動板17aを配置して、音響信号を発信するようにしてもよい。同様に、給電装置Sにおいて、図3(b)に示すように、平面カバー5a全体の領域に受信用振動板6aを配置して、音響信号を受信するようにしてもよい。さらに、移動車両Mにおいて、図3(c)に示すように、図3(b)に示した発信用振動板17aを音響信号に指向性を持たせる形状(湾曲したへこみ形状)にしてもよい。同様に、給電装置Sにおいて、図3(c)に示すように、図3(b)に示した受信用振動板6aを湾曲したへこみ形状にしてもよい。
また、受信用振動板16a及び発信用振動板17aについては、給電コイルカバー5や受電コイルカバー15と同じ素材(例えばエンジニアリングプラスチック)を用いてもよい。また、振動板ではなく、給電コイルカバー5や受電コイルカバー15をそのまま用いて音響信号を発信あるいは受信するようにしてもよい。
(11)給電コイル4や受電コイル11はヘリカルコイルに限定されない。給電コイル4と受電コイル11の間で非接触給電が可能であればソレノイド状など任意の形式や形状のコイルでよく、また両コイルの形式、形状、大きさが異なってもよい。
(13)移動車両Mは、運転者を要しない無人搬送車や遠隔操縦車であってもよい。また、自動車に限らず各種の陸上移動体や、静止が可能な空中移動体であってもよい。
Claims (7)
- 給電コイルを有する給電装置と、受電コイルを有する受電装置とを具備し、前記給電コイルから前記受電コイルに非接触給電を行う非接触給電システムであって、
前記給電装置と前記受電装置との間で音響信号を用いて通信する複数の発信器と複数の受信器を備え、
前記複数の発信器は、前記給電コイル及び前記受電コイルの一方を覆うカバーの外周に沿って当該カバーに等間隔で配置され、
前記複数の受信器は、前記給電コイル及び前記受電コイルの他方を覆うカバーの外周に沿って当該カバーに等間隔で配置されていることを特徴とする非接触給電システム。 - 前記給電コイル及び前記受電コイル各々を覆うカバーの少なくとも一方の一部に発信用振動板を設けると共に前記カバーと前記発信用振動板との境界に可撓性を有するシール材を設け、前記発信用振動板を用いて音響信号を発信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触給電システム。
- 前記発信用振動板は、音響信号に指向性を持たせる形状であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の非接触給電システム。
- 前記給電コイル及び前記受電コイル各々を覆うカバーの少なくとも一方を用いて音響信号を受信することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の非接触給電システム。
- 前記給電コイル及び前記受電コイル各々を覆うカバーの少なくとも一方の一部に受信用振動板を設けると共に前記カバーと前記受信用振動板との境界に可撓性を有するシール材を設け、前記受信用振動板を用いて音響信号を受信することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の非接触給電システム。
- 前記受電装置は、非接触給電時に周期的に音響信号を発信し、
前記給電装置は、非接触給電時に周期的な音響信号を受信できない場合には給電を停止することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の非接触給電システム。 - 前記受電装置は、非接触給電の必要がない場合には、周期的な音響信号の発信を停止することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の非接触給電システム。
