Description
請求項3に記載の発明は、請求項1又は2に記載の発明において、前記投影レンズと前記光源との間には、前記出射面から出射して前方に照射される前記光源からの光のうち上方へ向かう光を遮る遮光部材が配置されていることを特徴とする。
Claims (6)
- 第1焦点と第2焦点とを含む回転楕円系の反射面と、
車両前方側の出射面と、車両後方側の入射面と、前記入射面側の焦点と、を含む非回転対称形状の投影レンズであって、前記焦点が前記第2焦点又はその近傍に位置した状態で、前記反射面の前方に配置された投影レンズと、
前記第1焦点又はその近傍に配置され、前記反射面で反射され、前記入射面から前記投影レンズ内部へ入射し、前記出射面から出射して前方に照射される光を放出する光源と、
を備えており、
前記出射面は、水平面内において前記投影レンズの焦点を通って車両前後方向に延びる前記投影レンズの光軸に対して傾斜した面とされており、
前記入射面は、前記投影レンズの光軸に対して平行な複数の光線を前記出射面から前記投影レンズ内部へ入射させた場合、当該入射面から出射する前記複数の光線が前記投影レンズの焦点に集光する面とされており、
前記反射面は、前記出射面から出射して前方に照射される前記光源からの光が前記投影レンズの光軸に対して略均等となるように、前記第1焦点と第2焦点とを通る光軸が水平面内において前記投影レンズの光軸に対して所定角度傾斜した状態で配置され、
前記投影レンズの光軸と車両用灯具の灯具光軸とが一致していることを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記入射面は、水平断面形状及び鉛直断面形状が、前記光源に向かって凸の自由曲面とされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記投影レンズと前記光源との間には、前記出射面から出射して前方に照射される前記光源からの光のうち上方へ向かう光を遮る遮光部材が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 請求項1から3の何れか一に記載の複数の車両用前照灯を含むことを特徴とする車両用前照灯。
- 前記複数の車両用前照灯それぞれの前記投影レンズは、物理的に分離した投影レンズとして構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記複数の車両用前照灯それぞれの前記投影レンズは、一体化された複合レンズ体として構成されており、
前記複合レンズ体は、前記複数の車両用前照灯それぞれの前記投影レンズの出射面として機能する共通で一枚の出射面を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用前照灯。
