Claims (10)
- 成長ロッドであって、
外部ハウジングと、
前記外部ハウジングに内設された内部ハウジングと、
前記内部ハウジング内に回転自在に取り付けられた磁石アセンブリであって、第1の極と第2の極とを有する磁石を含むものである、前記磁石アセンブリと、
前記内部ハウジング内で前記磁石に連結された歯車減速機構であって、前記磁石による出力回転を減速させて、ネジ山付き駆動体を回転させるものであり、それにより当該駆動体は前記外部ハウジングに対して長手方向の軸に沿って前記内部ハウジングを移動させるように動作するものである、前記歯車減速機構と、
前記内部ハウジングに取り付けられた第1のロッドと、
前記外部ハウジングに取り付けられた第2のロッドと
を有し、
前記内部ハウジングは、さらに、
前記内部ハウジングの内部空間に配置され、前記磁石を受容する内部ベアリングと、
前記磁石アセンブリのかぶせ蓋部により受容される外部ベアリングと、
前記歯車減速機構と、
前記内部ハウジングに固定され、前記磁石アセンブリおよび前記歯車減速機構を前記内部ハウジング内に保持する段付きベアリングであって、これにより、前記磁石アセンブリおよび前記歯車減速機構は前記内部ハウジング内で回転自在となるものであり、
当該段付きベアリングはピンにより前記内部ハウジングに固定され、且つ当該段付きベアリングの周囲に沿って延在する張り出し部(ledge)を含むものであり、当該張り出し部は前記内部ハウジングの一端部と接触するようにサイズが設定され且つ構成されているものである、前記段付きベアリングと
を有する成長ロッド。 - 請求項1記載の成長ロッドにおいて、前記第1のロッドは、実質的に回転することなく前記長手方向の軸に沿って移動するものである成長ロッド。
- 請求項1記載の成長ロッドにおいて、前記歯車減速機構は、さらに、
遊星歯車セットを有する第1の段階部と、
前記第1の段階部を受容する遊星歯車セットを有し、前記歯車減速機構の出力部となる第2の段階部と
を有するものである成長ロッド。 - 請求項3記載の成長ロッドにおいて、さらに、
前記磁石アセンブリは歯車を有し、この歯車は前記第1の段階部により受容されるものであり、前記磁石アセンブリが回転すると前記歯車減速機構を駆動するものである成長ロッド。 - 請求項4記載の成長ロッドにおいて、前記第2の段階部は前記歯車減速機構から延長するキャッチ部を含み、このキャッチ部は前記歯車の1回の完全な回転につき64分の1回転するものである成長ロッド。
- 請求項4記載の成長ロッドにおいて、前記歯車の回転は、前記歯車減速機構により伝達されて前記ネジ山付き駆動体を回転させるものである成長ロッド。
- 請求項1記載の成長ロッドにおいて、前記内部ハウジングは、当該成長ロッドに近接して磁場をかけ当該成長ロッドの長手方向の軸を中心として前記磁石を回転させることにより、前記外部ハウジングに対して移動するものである成長ロッド。
- 請求項1記載の成長ロッドにおいて、さらに、
前記内部ハウジングの外周にスライド式に嵌着するベアリングを有し、ベアリングの内面は前記内部ハウジングのリブを設けた外面に嵌合し、前記ベアリングは前記外部ハウジングの内面にスナップ式に嵌着する複数の平坦部を含むものである成長ロッド。 - 請求項1記載の成長ロッドにおいて、前記磁石アセンブリは前記磁石を受容する磁石カバーを含み、前記磁石はかぶせ蓋部を受容する対向しあう平坦部を含み、これにより、前記磁石カバーが密閉されるものである成長ロッド。
- 請求項9記載の成長ロッドにおいて、前記かぶせ蓋部は、前記歯車減速機構を駆動する歯車を受容するものである成長ロッド。
