Description
アミジン系高分子凝集剤中の界面活性剤の分析はゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィ(GPC)によって行った。
測定装置:株式会社島津製作所製GPCシステム(コントローラ+ポンプ+デガッサ+ オートサンプラ+オーブン+RI検出器)
カラム:SECカラム(東ソー製「TSKgel G4000PWXL」)
溶離液:H2O(0.5ml/min)
オーブン温度:40℃
注入量:400μL
検出器:RI(視差屈折)検出
検量線:標品を用い絶対検量線にて定量
以下の実施例及び比較例において、各特性の測定は以下の方法で行った。
(1)TS濃度(蒸発残留物):定法に基づき測定した((財)日本下水道協会編、「下水道試験法上巻1997年度版」p296−297)。
(2)VTS値(強熱減量):定法に基づき測定した((財)日本下水道協会編、「下水道試験法上巻1997年度版」p297)。
(3)凝集フロック平均粒径:目視により測定した。
(4)脱水分離液の発泡性:分離した濾液100mlを300mlのガラス製メスシリンダーに採り、エアストーンにて0.2L/分の送風量にて30秒間空気を注入し発泡量を測定した。発泡性の評価は次の通りである。
◎:無機薬剤無添加の発泡量に対し50容量%以上削減
○:無機薬剤無添加の発泡量に対し20〜40容量%削減
×:無機薬剤無添加の発泡量に対し同〜10容量%削減
使用したアミジン系高分子凝集剤中のポリオキシアルキレンアルキルエーテル及びポリエチレングリコールの合計量は1.07重量%であった。また、脱水処理試験においてアミジン系高分子凝集剤は0.3重量%水溶液として使用した。pH7.4、TS1.6%、VTS68.4%の下水消化汚泥を用い次の手順で脱水試験を行った。
(2)アミジン系高分子凝集剤を汚泥固形分に対して2.8重量%添加し、スパチュラで約200rpmの攪拌速度で30秒間攪拌混合する。
(3)更に、表1に示す無機薬剤(無機凝結剤または多価陰イオンのアルカリ金属塩)を同表に示す所定量添加し、同様の回転数で10秒間秒間攪拌混合する。
(4)凝集汚泥を濾布を敷いたヌッチェにあけて濾過し、濾液量を測定し、脱水性を評価する。
(5)脱水分離液の発泡性を確認する。
比較例1は、ポリ鉄を添加しない以外は実施例1と同様に行った例であり、比較例2は、ポリ鉄の代わりに塩化ナトリウムを使用した以外は実施例1と同様に行った例である。塩化ナトリウムは、濃度4.8重量%となるようイオン交換水に溶解した水溶液として使用した。
ポリオキシアルキレンアルキルエーテル及びポリエチレングリコールを除去したアミジン系高分子凝集剤を使用した以外は比較例1と同様に行った。ポリオキシアルキレンアルキルエーテル及びポリエチレングリコールの除去は、実施例1で使用したのと同じアミジン系高分子凝集剤をメタノール10倍量に浸漬し、5時間静置後濾過、乾燥することによって行った。脱水分離液の発泡性は「◎」であって。フロック径や濾液量を測定した後にプレスを行った脱水ケーキの含水率は、比較例1と同等以上に良好であった。
Claims (6)
- 界面活性剤を含むアミジン系高分子凝集剤を用いて糖又は蛋白質を含む有機質汚泥を脱水処理する際、有機質汚泥に界面活性剤を含むアミジン系高分子凝集剤を添加した後に、硫酸塩、リン酸塩または炭酸塩である多価陰イオンのアルカリ金属塩を添加し、脱水分離液の発泡を抑制することを特徴とする、有機質汚泥の処理方法。
- 界面活性剤がポリアルキレンアルキルエーテルである請求項1に記載の有機質汚泥の処理方法。
- 界面活性剤の含有量が0.01〜10重量%である請求項1又は2に記載の有機質汚泥の処理方法。
- アミジン系高分子凝集剤が更に酸化エチレンの重合体または酸化エチレンと酸化プロピレン共重合体を含有する請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の有機質汚泥の処理方法。
- 界面活性剤および酸化エチレンの重合体または酸化エチレンと酸化プロピレン共重合体の含有量が0.01〜10重量%である請求項4に記載の有機質汚泥の処理方法。
- 有機質汚泥が下水消化汚泥である請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の有機質汚泥の処理方法。
