(Overall configuration of gaming machine)
Hereinafter, embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. First, the configuration of the gaming machine 1 will be briefly described with reference to FIGS. A well-known configuration can be applied to the skeleton of the gaming machine 1. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, a front frame 91 is rotatably supported on a frame-shaped machine frame 90. The front frame 91 is provided with a transparent plate that allows the game board 11 to be visually recognized from the front side.

The game board 11 is formed of a substantially square plywood and is detachably attached to the front frame 91. A center accessory 12 having a decorative member or the like is attached to the game board 11 so as to surround an opening 111 formed substantially at the center, and on the front side of a part of the game board 11 and the center accessory 12, A game area 13 is provided in which the launched game balls flow down. The game board 11 is provided with a strip-shaped guide rail 92 made of a thin metal plate for guiding a game ball launched by the operation of the launching device 96 to the game area 13 so as to have a substantially arc shape.

In the game area 13, a display device 93, a first start winning port 941, a second start winning port 942, a first major winning port 943, a second major winning port 944, an out port 95, and the like are provided. In the present embodiment, the first start winning opening 941 and the first big winning opening 943 are winning holes aimed at the so-called left-handed game (in the normal gaming state). The big winning opening 944 is a so-called right-handed game (for example, a probability variation state, a short time state, a big hit game in which the second big winning opening 944 is opened, etc.). It corresponds to a “predetermined gaming state different from“. ”(Hereinafter simply referred to as“ predetermined gaming state ”). In the normal game state, the launching device 96 is operated so that the game ball enters the left side of the game area 13 aiming at the first start winning prize port 941. In a predetermined gaming state, the game ball enters the right side of the game area 13 aiming at the second start winning opening 942 or the grand prize opening 943 (to increase the firing power of the gaming ball than in the normal gaming state) A) Operate the launcher 96; That is, in a predetermined game state, the game ball enters the right side of the game area 13 through the special route 14 shown in FIGS. As the display device 93, for example, a liquid crystal display device is used, and special symbols, normal symbols, and the like are displayed on the display screen (display unit) of the display device 93. The display screen of the display device 93 is visible through the opening 111 formed in the game board 11.

The light emitting device 2 is provided at the upper right of the game area 13. The light emitting device 2 is provided along the special route 14 below the route. The upper right of the opening 111 of the game board 11 is greatly cut out, and the light emitting device 2 is attached so as to be fitted into the cut out portion. Specifically, the light emitting device 2 constitutes a part of the center accessory 12 attached to the game board 11, and is attached to the game board 11 via the main body portion of the center accessory 12. Details of the light emitting device 2 will be described later. In addition, the presence or absence of the decoration device (member) other than the light emitting device 2 and the configuration thereof may be anything.

The game area 13 is provided with a plurality of game nails (not shown) as obstacles that change the flow-down mode of the game balls when the game balls flowing down collide. The game ball flowing down the game area 13 changes into various modes according to the conditions when it collides with the game nail.

A center base unit (not shown) is provided on the back side of the gaming machine 1. The center base unit is provided with various control boards such as a main control board and a sub control board, a ball tank, a rail, and the like.

In such a gaming machine 1, a game ball is launched toward the game area 13 by operating the launching device 96 (handle). When a game ball flowing down the game area 13 wins a winning opening such as a start winning opening 941, 942 or a big winning opening 943, 944, a predetermined number of winning balls are paid out by the payout device. In addition, the jackpot lottery method, effects, and the like can be applied to those similar to known game machines, and thus description thereof is omitted.

(Configuration of light emitting device)
Hereinafter, the configuration of the light emitting device 2 included in the gaming machine 1 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. In the following description, the term “plane direction” simply refers to the plane direction of the substrate 30, and the term “front-rear direction” refers to a direction orthogonal to the plane direction of the substrate 30 (the player side is the front and the opposite is the rear). It shall be said.

As shown in FIG. 4, the light emitting device 2 includes a substrate 30, a plurality of light sources, and a partition member 50. The board 30 has an electric circuit formed on the front side (the player side is the front side and the opposite side is the back side). The surface of the substrate 30 is coated with a reflective material that reflects visible light. A plurality of light sources (for example, LEDs) are mounted on the surface of the substrate 30. Each light source is a point light source and includes a first light source 41 and a second light source 42. The first light source 41 and the second light source 42 have different distances from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 411. Switching between ON / OFF of the first light source 41 and ON / OFF of the second light source 42 is controlled by a control means (control board) of the gaming machine 1 (not shown). The control means can separately control at least the first light source 41 group and the second light source 42 group.

The first light source 41 has a relatively large distance d1 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 411 in the front-rear direction (greater than the second light source 42), and the second light source 42 is the surface of the substrate 30 in the front-rear direction. The distance d2 from the light emitting surface 421 to the light emitting surface 421 is relatively small (smaller than the first light source 41) (see FIGS. 8 and 9). The method for setting the distance is not particularly limited. Two types of light sources having different distances from the lower surface of the light source to the light emitting surface may be used, or the same type of light source may be used, and the base may be interposed between the lower surface of one light source and the surface of the substrate 30 to set the distance. The distances may be different by using the same type of light source and interposing a base having a different thickness between the lower surface of one light source and the lower surface of the other light source and the surface of the substrate 30. The color of light emitted from the first light source 41 and the color of light emitted from the second light source 42 may be different. In the present embodiment, the first light source 41 emits light of P color and the second light source 42 emits light of Q color.

The partition member 50 is a member that partitions a region where a plurality of light sources are mounted into a first light emitting region A1 where the first light source 41 is located and a second light emitting region A2 where the second light source 42 is located. (See FIG. 7). In addition, the presence or absence of an area other than this does not matter. The partition member 50 includes an outer wall portion 51 formed substantially along the outer edge of the substrate 30, an inner wall portion 52 (corresponding to a partition wall in the present invention) surrounding the first light emitting region A1, and the outer wall portion 51 and the inner side. It has the connection part 53 which connects the wall part 52. FIG. The outer wall 51 and the inner wall 52 are walls extending in the front-rear direction, and are formed of a light-shielding material. A region surrounded by the outer wall portion 51 and the inner wall portion 52 is the second light emitting region A2. In the present embodiment, three inner wall portions 52 are provided in a region inside the outer wall portion 51, and the planar shape inside each inner wall portion 52, that is, the planar shape of the first light emitting region A1 is from the left. It is shaped like an “arrow” pointing to the right. When the light emitting device 2 is attached at a predetermined position, the direction indicated by the arrow is a direction along the left to the right of the special path 14. In each first light emitting area A1, a plurality of first light sources 41 are positioned so that the area can be illuminated uniformly. In the second light emitting area A2, a plurality of second light sources 42 are positioned so that the area can be illuminated uniformly. In addition, the number of the 1st light sources 41 in 1st light emission area | region A1 and the number of the 2nd light sources 42 in 2nd light emission area | region A2 can be changed suitably.

As shown in FIG. 9, the lower end (lower surface) of the inner wall portion 52 is located in front of the lower end (lower surface) of the outer wall portion 51. The partition member 50 is disposed with the lower surface of the outer wall portion 51 in contact with the surface of the substrate 30. Therefore, a space S (gap) exists between the surface of the substrate 30 and the lower surface of the inner wall portion 52. The size of the space S in the front-rear direction (the width D of the space S) is set larger than the distance d2 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 421 of the second light source 42 in the front-rear direction. The size of the space S in the front-rear direction (width D of the space S) is set to be smaller than the distance d1 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 411 of the first light source 41 in the front-rear direction. As described above, the partition member 50 surrounds the entire region where the light source is disposed by the outer wall portion 51 that contacts the substrate 30, and the first light source 41 is disposed by the inner wall portion 52 that does not contact the substrate 30. The first light emitting area A1 and the second light emitting area A2 where the second light source 42 is disposed are partitioned. In the present embodiment, there is also a space (gap) between the connecting portion 53 connecting the outer wall portion 51 and the inner wall portion 52 and the surface of the substrate 30 (in the following description, when simply referred to as a space) Not the space but the space S existing between the surface of the substrate 30 and the lower surface of the inner wall portion 52 described above). The size of the space S in the front-rear direction is set larger than the distance d2 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 421 of the second light source 42 in the front-rear direction.

Further, as can be seen from FIG. 7, in the present embodiment, the second light emitting region A2 is provided so as to surround the first light emitting region A1. That is, the second light emitting area A2 always exists around the first light emitting area A1. And the said space S exists between the whole inner side wall part 52 which divides 1st light emission area | region A1 and 2nd light emission area | region A2 surrounding this, and the surface of the board | substrate 30. FIG. That is, the space S always exists between the first light emitting area A1 and the second light emitting area A2 surrounding it.

The light emitting device 2 in the present embodiment further includes a first cover member 61 and a second cover member 62 shown in FIGS. The first cover member 61 is a member that covers the substrate 30 and the partition member 50 (overlaps these members in the front-rear direction). The first cover member 61 has a first transmission part 611 and a second transmission part 612 provided substantially parallel to the substrate 30. The first transmission portion 611 is a portion that overlaps the first light emitting region A1 in the front-rear direction when the first cover member 61 is attached at a predetermined position, and has a relatively high visible light transmittance (second transmission portion). Higher than 612). That is, the first transmission part 611 has the same “arrow” shape from left to right as in the first light emitting region A1 (outer wall part 51). The second transmission portion 612 is a portion that overlaps the second light emitting region A2 in the front-rear direction when the first cover member 61 is attached at a predetermined position, and has a relatively low visible light transmittance (first transmission portion). Part lower than 611). By making the first transmission part 611 a part penetrating in the front-rear direction, a part having a relatively higher transmittance of visible light than the second transmission part 612 may be used. It should be noted that both the light from the first light source 41 (P color light) and the light from the second light source 42 (Q color light) may be set so as to satisfy the magnitude relationship of the transmittance.

The second cover member 62 is a portion that covers the first cover member 61 (overlaps with the first cover member 61 in the front-rear direction). The second cover member 62 has a diffusion portion 621 that is a portion substantially parallel to the substrate 30 and overlaps both the first transmission portion 611 and the second transmission portion 612 in the front-rear direction. The light that attempts to pass through the diffusion part 621 from the rear to the front is diffusely reflected by the diffusion part 621. That is, the light is emitted as uniform light in the surface direction of the diffusion portion 621.

The members constituting the light emitting device 2 in the present embodiment are the substrate 30 on which the first light source 41 and the second light source 42 are mounted, the partition member 50, the first cover member 61, and the second cover member 62 from the rear side. Are integrated in this order. These are supported by a base member 70 located between the partition member 50 and the first cover member 61, and are fixed to a predetermined position of the game board 11 via the base member 70. The upper side of the base member 70 of the apparatus is a portion facing the special path 14. That is, in this embodiment, the base member 70 is also a part that constructs the special path 14.

(Operation of light emitting device)
Hereinafter, an operation (operation) of the light emitting device 2 having the above configuration will be described. When the second light source 42 is caused to emit light without causing the first light source 41 to emit light, the second light emission region A2 where the second light source 42 is located is the light of the second light source 42 (Q-color light in the present embodiment). Illuminated. Furthermore, the size (width) of the space S between the surface of the substrate 30 and the lower surface of the inner wall portion 52 (the wall portion that divides the first light emitting region A1 and the second light emitting region A2) is the surface of the substrate 30. Since the distance d2 from the light source 42 to the light emitting surface 421 of the second light source 42 is set, the light emitted from the second light source 42 enters the first light emitting area A1 through the space S, and the first light emitting area A1. Illuminate A1. That is, the light emitted from the second light source 42 illuminates not only the second light emitting area A2 but also the first light emitting area A1. In the present embodiment, since there is a space (gap) between the connection portion 53 located in the second light emitting region A2 and the surface of the substrate 30, the light emitted from the second light source 42 is the space. Through the entire second light emitting area A2.

The light that illuminates both light emitting areas passes through the first transmission part 611 or the second transmission part 612 of the first cover member 61 and enters the area between the first cover member 61 and the second cover member 62. Since the first transmissive part 611 and the second transmissive part 612 have different visible light transmittances, the first transmissive part 611 having a relatively high visible light transmittance when the light passes through the first cover member 61 is provided. It is in a state of being illuminated by light more clearly (clearer) than the second transmission part 612. That is, there is a possibility that the light is uneven in the surface direction of the first cover member 61. However, even if there is such unevenness, when the light transmitted through the first cover member 61 reaches the diffusing portion 621 of the second cover member 62, the light is irregularly reflected by the diffusing portion 621 and becomes planar light. . That is, planar light is emitted forward from the second cover member 62 at the forefront of the light emitting device 2. When the second light source 42 is caused to emit light without causing the first light source 41 to emit light in this way, planar light of Q color (a plane that matches the planar shape of the diffusing portion 621 of the second cover member 62) is emitted from the light emitting device 2. Q-color light) is emitted (see FIG. 10A). Since the light emitting device 2 is fixed to the game board 11 as described above, when the second light source 42 emits light without causing the first light source 41 to emit light, the light emitting device 2 causes the game area 13 (game board 11) to emit light. ) Demonstrate the decoration function to illuminate the predetermined part.

On the other hand, when the first light source 41 emits light without causing the second light source 42 to emit light, the first light emitting area A1 where the first light source 41 is located is light of the first light source 41 (in this embodiment, light of P color). ). At this time, the size (width) of the space S between the surface of the substrate 30 and the lower surface of the inner wall portion 52 (the wall portion that divides the first light emitting region A1 and the second light emitting region A2) is the surface of the substrate 30. Since the distance d1 is set to be smaller than the distance d1 from the first light source 41 to the light emitting surface 411, most of the light emitted from the first light source 41 remains in the first light emitting area A1 as it is. That is, since the light emitting surface 411 of the first light source 41 is located in front of the space S, the light emitted from the light emitting surface 411 forward (most of the light) passes through the space S located behind the light emitting surface 411. It is difficult to enter through the second light emitting area A2. Therefore, the second light emitting area A2 is not illuminated with light (a very small amount of light has entered) and is in a dark state.

The light emitted from the first light source 41 passes through the first cover member 61. Since the first cover member 61 is provided with the first transmission part 611 having a relatively high transmittance of visible light overlapping the first light emitting region A1 in the front-rear direction, a large amount of light emitted from the first light source 41 is provided. The portion is transmitted through the first transmission part 611. In addition, since the second transmissive portion 612 having a lower visible light transmittance than the first transmissive portion 611 exists around the first transmissive portion 611, transmission of the light emitted by the second transmissive portion 612 is suppressed. The That is, the light transmitted through the first cover member 61 has a clearer outline of the first light emitting area A1 (first transmission part 611). The light transmitted through the first cover member 61 is transmitted through the second cover member 62 and is emitted from the surface of the second cover member 62. Since the second cover member 62 is provided with the diffusion portion 621, the light reaching the second cover member 62 is diffused by the diffusion portion 621 in the same manner as when only the second light source 42 emits light. However, the light reaching the second cover member 62 is substantially the same as the shape of the first light emitting area A1 (first transmission portion 611), that is, local light when viewed from the entire light emitting device 2. Although it is diffused by the diffusing portion 621 and the outline is slightly blurred, it becomes light in which the shape of the first light emitting area A1 is maintained (they do not spread to the entire second cover member 62 (diffusing portion 621)). That is, the P-color light in the shape of the first light emitting area A1 is emitted from the surface of the second cover member 62 and reaches the player.

The first light emitting area A1 and the first transmitting portion 611 of the first cover member 61 overlapping with the first light emitting area A1 have an “arrow” shape from left to right. Therefore, when the first light source 41 is caused to emit light without causing the second light source 42 to emit light, a P-colored arrow appears on the surface of the second cover member 62 (see FIG. 10B). In the present embodiment, only the first light source 41 is used when the above-described predetermined gaming state is started (including both immediately before and after the predetermined gaming state is started) or during the predetermined gaming state. By emitting light, the arrow from the left to the right is displayed. Since the light emitting device 2 is provided along the special route 14, the player who sees the arrow from the left to the right along the special route 14 should pass the game ball through the special route 14 (so-called Recognize that right-handed games should be executed. As described above, when the first light source 41 is caused to emit light without causing the second light source 42 to emit light, a guidance function for notifying the player of the future or current gaming method (operation method) is exhibited. When this guidance function is exhibited, three “arrows” may be displayed at the same time, or the so-called right-handed game should be executed by repeating the display sequentially from the left “arrow”. You may make things easier to understand.

As described above, in the present embodiment, as the light emission pattern of the light emitting device 2, the second light source 42 is caused to emit light without causing the first light source 41 to emit light, and the light emitting device 2 (second cover member 62) is spread over the entire surface. There are two cases: a case where light is emitted and a case where local light is emitted by causing the first light source 41 to emit light without causing the second light source 42 to emit light. 42 may emit light. When both the first light source 41 and the second light source 42 are caused to emit light, the light emitted from the first light source 41 mainly illuminates the first light emitting region A1, while the light emitted from the second light source 42 is the second light. The light enters the first light emitting area A1 as well as the light emitting area A2. That is, the first light-emitting area A1 is illuminated with a mixture of the light from the first light source 41 and the light from the second light source 42 that has entered the first light-emitting area A1, and the second light-emitting area A2 is the second light source. It will be illuminated with 42 lights.

(Main effects of this embodiment)
According to the gaming machine 1 according to the present embodiment described above, the following effects are exhibited.

In the light emitting device 2 included in the gaming machine 1 according to the present embodiment, the first light source 41 in which the distance d1 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 411 is relatively large (greater than d2) is located in the first light emitting area A1. The second light source 42 having a relatively small distance d2 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 411 (smaller than d1) is positioned in the second light emitting region A2. The space S between the inner wall portion 52 that divides the first light emitting region A1 and the second light emitting region A2 and the surface of the substrate 30 is set to be larger than the distance d2 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the second light source 42. Therefore, when the second light source 42 emits light, the light passes through the space S and illuminates the first light emitting area A1 as well as the second light emitting area A2.

On the other hand, the width D of the space S between the inner wall portion 52 and the surface of the substrate 30 is set to be smaller than the distance d1 from the surface of the substrate 30 to the light emitting surface 411 of the first light source 41. Light when only one light source 41 emits light hardly enters the second light emitting area A2. That is, when only the first light source 41 emits light, most of the light illuminates the first light emitting area A1, so only the first light emitting area A1 is illuminated and the second light emitting area A2 is illuminated. It becomes a light emission mode that does not seem to be.

In this manner, when only the second light source 42 is caused to emit light without causing the first light source 41 to emit light, both the first light emitting area A1 and the second light emitting area A2 are illuminated, and the second light source 42 is emitted. Since the first light emitting area A1 is illuminated when only the first light source 41 is caused to emit light, a variety of light emission patterns can be realized with a simple configuration (without increasing the number of light sources). .

In the present embodiment, when only the second light source 42 is emitted without causing the first light source 41 to emit light, the decoration function of illuminating the game area 13 (around the display device 93) is exhibited, and the second light source 42 is not caused to emit light. When only the first light source 41 is caused to emit light, a guidance function for notifying the player of a gaming method in a predetermined gaming state is exhibited. That is, one light emitting device 2 performs two functions.

When both the first light source 41 and the second light source 42 emit light, the light from the first light source 41 enters the second light emitting area A2 and is mixed with the light from the second light source 42. It becomes possible to suppress.

The first cover member 61 includes a first transmission part 611 and a second transmission part 612 having different visible light transmittances, and the first transmission part 611 having a high light transmittance overlaps the first light emitting region A1, Since the second light transmission area 612 having a low light transmittance is set to overlap the second light emission area A2, the light of the first light source 41 that illuminates the first light emission area A1 can be seen more clearly. . Further, since the second cover member 62 that diffuses the light transmitted through the first cover member 61 is provided, when the first light emitting area A1 and the second light emitting area A2 are illuminated by the light emission of the second light source 42, Light emitted from the light emitting device 2 can be made uniform in the surface direction.

The second light emitting region A2 is provided so as to surround the first light emitting region A1, and the first light emitting region A1 and the entire inner wall portion 52 that partitions the second light emitting region A2 surrounding the first light emitting region A1 and the surface of the substrate 30 are provided. Since the space S is provided therebetween, when the second light source 42 is caused to emit light, the light enters the first light emitting area A1 from the second light emitting area A2 located around the first light emitting area A1. Therefore, it is possible to more uniformly illuminate the first light emitting area A1 with the light of the second light source 42.

Further, the light color (P color) of the first light source 41 and the light color (Q color) of the second light source 42 are different, so that the area of the emitted light is different and the color of the light is different. The light emitting device 2 has a plurality of types of light emitting modes.

The embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above, and various modifications as described below are possible without departing from the gist of the present invention. is there.

For example, in the present embodiment, it has been described that the light emitting device 2 is provided in the game area 13, but may be provided around the game area 13 (for example, the front frame 91).

Further, in the above embodiment, it has been described that the “arrow” is displayed when the first light source 41 is caused to emit light without causing the second light source 42 to emit light, but this shape is not limited to “arrow”. .

Moreover, in the said embodiment, there may exist area | regions (the shape etc. do not ask | require) other than 1st light emission area | region A1 and 2nd area | region A2 in the area | region where a light source is mounted.
