Claims (7)
- 棒状体又は環状体が枝分かれした樹状の炭素であって、
樹状の炭素表面に形成されたポアを有する複数の炭素からなる担体に対し、そのポア内部にイリジウム又はイリジウム合金を担持した触媒を備え、
当該触媒を燃料電池用アノード電極に適用した、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 炭素表面に形成されるポアの壁面にグラフェン層を有する炭素からなる担体に対し、そのポア内部にイリジウム又はイリジウム合金を担持した触媒を備え、
当該触媒を燃料電池用アノード電極に適用した、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 炭素表面に形成されるポアの径と容積との関係をプロットしたときにポア直径2〜10nmの範囲におけるピーク値が1cm3/gを越えかつBET比表面積が1300m2/gを越える担体に対し、そのポア内部にイリジウム又はイリジウム合金を担持した触媒を備え、当該触媒を燃料電池用アノード電極に適用した、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、
前記担体は、ポアの径と容積との関係をプロットしたときにポア直径2〜10nmの範囲におけるピーク値の、触媒を担持する前に対する触媒を担持した後の低下率が、1割以上である、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、
前記担体は、ポアの径と容積との関係をプロットしたときにポア直径2〜10nmの範囲におけるピーク値の、触媒を担持する前に対する触媒を担持した後の低下率が、5割以下である、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、
前記触媒は、白金をさらに含む、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、
前記イリジウム合金は、イリジウム及び白金を含む合金である、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池。
