Description
(1)顔料着色された水性ベースコートが基材に塗布され、
(2)段階(1)で塗布されたコートからポリマー塗膜が形成され、
(3)こうして得られたベースコート層にクリアコートが塗布されて、引き続き
(4)前記ベースコート層が前記クリアコート層と一緒に硬化される

・中和剤および/もしくは第四級化剤によりカチオンに変換されうる官能基、ならびに/またはカチオン基(カチオン変性)か、
または
・中和剤によりアニオンに変換されうる官能基、および/またはアニオン基(アニオン変性)
および/または
・非イオン性親水性基(非イオン変性)
である。
・(メタ)アクリル酸または別のα,β−エチレン性不飽和カルボン酸のヒドロキシアルキルエステル、
・アルキル基に20個までの炭素原子を有する(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルおよび/または(メタ)アクリル酸シクロアルキルエステル、
・少なくとも1つの酸基、特に正確に1つのカルボキシル基、例えば(メタ)アクリル酸を含んでいる、エチレン性不飽和モノマー、
・5〜18個の炭素原子を有するα位分岐型モノカルボン酸のビニルエステル、
・(メタ)アクリル酸と、5〜18個の炭素原子を有するα位分岐型モノカルボン酸のグリシジルエステルとからの反応生成物、
・さらなるエチレン性不飽和モノマー、例えばオレフィン(例えば、エチレン)、(メタ)アクリル酸アミド、ビニル芳香族炭化水素(例えば、スチレン)、ビニル化合物、例えば塩化ビニルおよび/またはビニルエーテル、例えばエチルビニルエーテル。

から公知である。前記添加物は、通常および公知の量で使用される。
1.銀色のウォーターベースコート1の製造
表A中の「水相」以下に記載された成分を、以下に示す順序で撹拌して水性混合物にする。次の工程で、「有機相」以下に記載された成分から有機混合物を製造する。この有機混合物を前記水性混合物に加える。次に、10分間撹拌して、脱イオン化された水およびジメタノールアミンを用いて、pH値8、および回転粘度計(Mettler−Toledo社の装置Rheomat RM 180)を用いて23℃で測定されたせん断負荷1000/secでの吹付粘度58mPasに調整する。
本発明による水性ベースコートE1を製造するため、水性ベースコート1に商業的に入手可能のイソ酪酸イソブチル1.5質量部を加えた。
本発明による水性ベースコートE2を製造するため、水性ベースコート1に商業的に入手可能のイソ酪酸エチル1.5質量部を加えた。
本発明による水性ベースコートE3を製造するため、水性ベースコート1に商業的に入手可能のプロピオン酸プロピル1.5質量部を加えた。
本発明による水性ベースコートE4を製造するため、水性ベースコート1に商業的に入手可能のプロピオン酸ブチル1.5質量部を加えた。
ピンホール限界およびピンホール数の測定のため、複層塗装を以下の一般的な指示により製造した:
サーフェーサー塗膜で被覆された寸法30×50cmの薄鋼板の長辺に、コーティング後に層厚みの差を求められるように接着テープを設けた。水性ベースコートをくさび状に静電塗布した。結果として生じた水性ベースコート層を、1分間室温でフラッシュオフし、引き続き10分間、循環空気炉内で70℃にて乾燥させた。乾燥させた水性ベースコート層に、通常の二成分クリアコートを塗布した。結果として生じたクリアコート層を20分間、室温でフラッシュオフした。引き続き、前記水性ベースコート層およびクリアコート層を循環空気炉内で20分間、140℃にて硬化させた。結果として生じたくさび状の複層塗装中のピンホールの視覚的評価により、ピンホール限界の層厚みを測定した。これらの結果を第2表に示す。
Claims (9)
- 色および/または効果を与える複層塗装の製造方法であって、
(1)顔料着色された水性ベースコートが基材に塗布され、
(2)段階(1)で塗布されたコートからポリマー塗膜が形成され、
(3)こうして得られたベースコート層にクリアコートが塗布されて、引き続き
(4)前記ベースコート層が前記クリアコート層と一緒に硬化される
前記方法において、段階(1)で、少なくとも1つのエステルを段階(1)で塗布された水性ベースコートの総質量に対して0.1〜5質量%の量で含んでいる顔料着色された水性ベースコートが使用されていて、前記少なくとも1つのエステルが、以下の構造:
- R2がC2〜C6の基であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- R1がイソプロピルであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエステルが、イソ酪酸イソブチル、イソ酪酸エチル、プロピオン酸プロピルおよびプロピオン酸ブチルからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 段階(1)で使用されるベースコートのエステルまたはエステルの混合物の含有量が、前記水性ベースコートの総質量に対して0.1〜4.5質量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 段階(1)で使用されるベースコートのエステルまたはエステルの混合物の含有量が、前記ベースコートの総質量に対して0.2〜4質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 段階(1)において、結合剤として少なくとも1つの飽和ポリウレタン樹脂または不飽和ポリウレタン樹脂を含んでいる顔料着色された水性ベースコートが使用されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 段階(1)において、アミノプラスト樹脂とブロックされたまたはブロックされていないポリイソシアネートとからなる群から選択される、少なくとも1つの架橋剤を含んでいる顔料着色された水性ベースコートが使用されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
