Claims (8)
- 球状内周面に軸方向に延びる複数のトラック溝が形成され、軸方向に離間する開口側と奥側を有する外側継手部材と、球状外周面に前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と対をなす複数のトラック溝が形成された内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と内側継手部材のトラック溝との間に介在してトルクを伝達する複数のボールと、このボールを収容するポケットを有すると共に前記外側継手部材の球状内周面と内側継手部材の球状外周面とに嵌合する球状外周面と球状内周面を有する保持器とを備えた固定式等速自在継手において、
前記外側継手部材のトラック溝は奥側に位置する第1のトラック溝部(7a)と開口側に位置する第2のトラック溝部(7b)とからなり、前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)は、継手中心(O)に対して軸方向にオフセットのない曲率中心をもつ円弧状部分を有し、かつ継手の軸線(N−N)に対して周方向に傾斜すると共にその傾斜方向が周方向に隣り合う前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)で互いに反対方向に形成されており、前記第2のトラック溝部(7b)は、最大作動角に対する有効トラック長さを増加させるために前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)とは異なる形状を有し、前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)と第2のトラック溝部(7b)とは前記継手中心(O)より開口側で接続されており、前記内側継手部材のトラック溝は、作動角が0°の状態で前記継手中心(O)を含む平面(P)を基準として、前記外側継手部材の対となるトラック溝と鏡像対称に形成されたものであって、前記内側継手部材と保持器間の軸方向すきまを、前記ボールとトラック溝間のすきまによる軸方向すきまより大きくしたことを特徴とする固定式等速自在継手。 - 前記ボールとトラック溝間のすきまを正の値としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)と第2のトラック溝部(7b)とが接続される点と継手中心(O)とを結ぶ直線(L)が、前記作動角が0°の状態で継手中心(O)を含む平面(P)に対してなす角(β)を3°〜10°に設定したことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)の円弧状部分の曲率中心を、継手の軸線(N−N)上に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)の円弧状部分の曲率中心を、継手の軸線(N−N)より半径方向にオフセットさせたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記第2のトラック溝部(7b)が円弧状部分を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記第2のトラック溝部(7b)の円弧状部分が、前記第1のトラック溝部(7a)より半径方向外側で、かつ継手中心(O)より開口側にオフセットされた曲率中心を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記第2のトラック溝部(7b)が直線状部分を有し、この直線状部分は、開口側に行くにつれて前記継手の軸線(N−N)に接近するように傾斜して形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
