Description
はじめに、第1の実施の形態に係る灯具ユニット10の概略構成を示す。図1は、第1の実施の形態に係る灯具ユニット10の光軸Xを含む垂直断面図である。灯具ユニット10は、車両の左前部および右前部の各々に一つずつ設けられる。以下の説明では、一つの灯具ユニット10の構成を説明する。
図8は、第2の実施の形態に係る遮光部近傍の拡大図である。本実施の形態に係る遮光部34は、発光素子12の光が透光部材20へ入射する入射面20dに形成されている。遮光部34は、例えば、蒸着等によって入射面20d上に膜を形成したり、予め作製した部材を入射面20dに貼り付けたりすることで実現できる。これにより、収納空間14内の発光素子12近傍に遮光部を設ける場合と比較して、遮光部の位置決めが容易となる。
図9は、第3の実施の形態に係る遮光部近傍の拡大図である。本実施の形態に係る遮光部36は、第1の実施の形態に係る遮光部32と類似の構成であるが、内面36aが反射処理されている点が大きな相違点である。つまり、内面36aが反射面として機能する。これにより、発光素子12から透光部材20の後面20bへ直接向かう光についても車両前方へ反射することが可能となり、配光パターンの形成にも寄与するため、灯具ユニットとして光束の利用率が向上する。
図10(a)は、第4の実施の形態に係る灯具ユニット70の正面図、図10(b)は、図10(a)に示す灯具ユニット70の光軸Xを含む断面図である。灯具ユニット70は、発光素子12が傾斜して配置されることは上述の実施の形態と同様であるが、透光部材80、前面反射部82および後面反射部84の形状が異なる。
Claims (3)
- 上端部に所定のカットオフラインを有する配光パターンを形成するための灯具ユニットであって、
灯具ユニットを正面から観察したときに長方形状となる発光部を有する光源と、
前記発光部からの光が後方から入射され、前方に前記配光パターンを投影する透光部材と、
前記透光部材の後面の一部を凹部とすることによって形成されており、該凹部に前記発光部が位置している収納部と、
前記収納部の内部に設けられ、前記発光部から出射した光の一部を遮光する遮光部と、を備え、
前記透光部材は、前記凹部から該透光部材の内部に入射した入射光を、該透光部材の前面で後方に向けて反射させた後に、該透光部材の前記凹部以外の後面に形成されている後面反射部で前方に向けて再度反射させて、該透光部材の前面から出射させるように構成されており、
前記遮光部は、前記発光部と前記収納部における後面との間に設けられており、前記発光部から前記透光部材の前記後面反射部へ直接向かう光を遮光するように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする灯具ユニット。 - 前記遮光部は、前記光源からの光が前記透光部材へ入射する入射面に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の灯具ユニット。
- 前記遮光部は、光源からの光を前方へ反射する反射面を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の灯具ユニット。
