Abstract
Description
本実施形態では、ブレード3Aが異常焼結部に衝突したときのみ異常焼結部の切削を行う。従って、焼結の度に、形成された焼結層の全水平投影領域を切削する場合に比べて、切削動作を行う回数を抑え、且つ、切削を行う水平投影領域を小さくすることができる。これにより、異常焼結部の切削に要する時間を抑えることができるため、積層造形物の製造に要する時間を短くすることができる。

Claims (2)
- 水平1軸方向に移動し、金属の材料粉末を平坦化して粉末層を形成するブレードと、
鉛直方向に移動し、上面に前記粉末層が形成されるテーブルと、
粉末層の所定領域にレーザビームを照射して焼結層を形成するレーザ照射装置と、
切削工具の先端が粉末層の上端面の高さに配置され、焼結層を切削するための切削装置と、
前記切削装置を制御する数値制御装置と、
を備えた積層造形装置であって、
前記数値制御装置は、
粉末層を形成する際に前記テーブルを下降させるための下降距離データおよび焼結層の水平投影領域を含む切削領域データが記憶された記憶部を有し、
新たな粉末層を形成している間に前記ブレードが最上の焼結層に生じた突起状の異常焼結部に衝突した場合、前記記憶部から前記下降距離データおよび前記切削領域データを取得し、
前記切削工具の先端を前記新たな粉末層の上端面から下端面まで下降させ、前記最上の焼結層の水平投影領域を含む切削領域において、前記異常焼結部を除去するように前記切削装置を制御することを特徴とする積層造形装置。 - 前記記憶部には、粉末層を形成する際に前記テーブルが下降する下降距離からの補正距離データが記憶されており、
新たな粉末層を形成している間に前記ブレードが最上の焼結層に生じた突起状の異常焼結部に衝突した場合、前記数値制御装置は、前記記憶部から、前記下降距離データと前記補正距離データとを取得し、
前記切削工具の先端を、粉末層を形成する際に前記テーブルが下降する下降距離に補正距離を加えた距離、下降させる指令を出力することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層造形装置。
