Description

を有する、造粒機が提供される。
回転するロータリーアトマイザーのウェル内に溶融材料のプールを形成するステップであって、前記ウェルは、底部及び該ウェルの前記底部の周りの周縁から延びる周側壁を備え、該周壁は、上部内縁及び該上部内縁から水平線よりも下に0度〜60度の角度で傾斜するリップ領域を有する、形成するステップと、
前記リップ領域から前記溶融材料の液滴を噴射するように一定の速度で前記ロータリーアトマイザーを回転させるステップと、
前記溶融材料を細粒として凝固させるステップと、
を含み、該方法は、飛翔中に前記液滴の大部分を凝固させるステップと、凝固した前記液滴をコレクターへ向けるステップとをさらに含むことが好ましい、

前記リップ領域から前記溶融材料の液滴を噴射するように一定の速度で前記ロータリーアトマイザーを回転させるステップであって、前記溶融材料は前記ウェル内での滞留時間を有する、回転させるステップと、

Claims (11)
- スラグ造粒機であって、
溶融スラグが溶融スラグの液滴として受け取られ噴射されるロータリーアトマイザーを備え、該ロータリーアトマイザーは、
前記溶融スラグを受け入れる回転ウェルであって、底部及び該底部の周りの周縁から延びる周壁を備え、当該周壁は、上部と共に上領域及び下領域を備え、該周壁の上部が、上部内縁及び該上部内縁から水平線よりも下に5度〜60度の角度で延びるリップ領域を有し、前記上部内縁まで延びる前記周壁の上領域が、垂直である、回転ウェル、を有し、
前記ウェルにおける熱損失に起因した冷却と、前記ウェルの下からの前記ウェルの制御冷却との結果として、前記リップ領域と前記ウェル内の表面はその上に凝固スラグの層を有するスラグ造粒機。 - 前記周壁の前記リップ領域は、前記底部の前記周縁から離間している、請求項1に記載の
造粒機。 - 前記底部は平面であり、該底部及び前記周壁は、直角を成して垂直の壁を提供する、請求
項1に記載の造粒機。 - 前記周壁の前記下領域は、前記ウェルの前記底部に対して75度〜105度の角度で傾斜
している、請求項1に記載の造粒機。 - 溶融スラグを造粒する方法であって、
回転するロータリーアトマイザーのウェル内に溶融スラグのプールを形成するステップであって、前記ウェルは、底部及び該ウェルの前記底部の周りの周縁から延びる周壁を備え、該周壁は、上部内縁及び該上部内縁から水平線よりも下に5度〜60度の角度で傾斜するリップ領域を有する、形成するステップと、
前記周壁は、上領域及び下領域を備え、前記上部内縁まで延びる前記周壁の前記上領域が垂直であり、
前記リップ領域から前記溶融スラグの液滴を噴射するように所定の速度で前記ロータリーアトマイザーを回転させるステップと、
前記溶融スラグを細粒として凝固させるステップとを含み、
前記ウェルにおける熱損失に起因した冷却と、前記ウェルの下からの前記ウェルの制御冷却とは、前記ウェル内の表面上でスラグの層を凝固させ、凝固したスラグの薄層を前記リップ領域上に形成させる、
溶融スラグを造粒する方法。 - 飛翔中に前記液滴の大部分を凝固させるステップと、凝固した前記液滴をコレクターへ向
けるステップとをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記プールに加えられる前記溶融スラグは、前記周壁を上って進み、前記ウェル内での滞
留時間後に前記周壁の前記上部内縁に到達した後で前記アトマイザーから噴射される、請
求項5に記載の方法。 - ロータリースラグアトマイザーであって、
溶融スラグを受け入れるウェルであって、底部及び該底部の周りの周縁から延びる周壁を
備え、当該周壁は、上部と共に上領域及び下領域を備え、該周壁の上部が、上部内縁及び
該上部内縁から水平線よりも下に5度〜60度の角度で延びるリップ領域を有する、ウェ
ルを備え
前記上部内縁まで延びる前記周壁の上領域が、垂直であり、
前記ウェルにおける熱損失に起因した冷却と、前記ウェルの下からの前記ウェルの制御冷却との結果として、前記リップ領域と前記ウェル内の表面はその上に凝固スラグの層を有するロータリースラグアトマイザー。 - 前記周壁の前記リップ領域は、前記底部の前記周縁から離間している、請求項8に記載の
ロータリースラグアトマイザー。 - 前記周壁の前記下領域は、前記ウェルの前記底部に対して75度〜105度の角度で傾斜
している、請求項8に記載のロータリースラグアトマイザー。 - 溶融スラグを噴霧する方法であって、
回転するロータリーアトマイザーのウェル内に溶融スラグのプールを形成するステップで
あって、前記ウェルは、底部及び該ウェルの前記底部の周りの周縁から延びる周壁を備え
、該周壁は、上部内縁及び該上部内縁から水平線よりも下に5度〜60度の角度で傾斜す
るリップ領域を有する、形成するステップと、
前記周壁は、上領域及び下領域を備え、前記上部内縁まで延びる前記周壁の前記上領域が
垂直であり、
前記リップ領域から前記溶融スラグの液滴を噴射するように所定の速度で前記ロータリー
スラグアトマイザーを回転させるステップであって、前記溶融スラグは、前記ウェル内で
の滞留時間を有する、回転させるステップと、
を含み、
前記ウェルにおける熱損失に起因した冷却と、前記ウェルの下からの前記ウェルの制御冷却とは、ウェル内の表面上でスラグの層を凝固させ、凝固したスラグの薄層を前記リップ領域上に形成させる、溶融スラグを噴霧する方法。
