Claims (6)
- 鏡面となるガラス基板(18)の背面側に、電圧を印加可能としたエレクトロクロミック層(20)が配置される防眩ミラーにおいて、前記ガラス基板(18)の背面に、透明電極膜(19)と、該透明電極膜(19)の一部を臨ませる切欠き部(25A,25B,25C)を有する前記エレクトロクロミック層(20)とが順次積層され、前記切欠き部(25A〜25C)を除く部分で前記エレクトロクロミック層(20)の背面に第1の電極兼反射膜(21A)が積層され、第1の電極兼反射膜(21A)とは隔絶した第2の電極兼反射膜(21B)が、前記切欠き部(25A〜25C)内で前記透明電極膜(19)の背面に積層され、前記第1の電極兼反射膜(21A)に第1の端子(28)が電気的に接続され、第2の端子(29)が前記第2の電極兼反射膜(21B)を介して前記透明電極膜(19)に電気的に接続されることを特徴とする防眩ミラー。
- 第1および第2の電極兼反射膜(21A,21B)が前記ガラス基板(18)側からの光を反射するハーフミラーであり、第2の電極兼反射膜(21B)の背面側の前記切欠き部(25A)に光検知センサ(35)が配置されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の防眩ミラー。
- 請求項1または請求項2に記載の防眩ミラーを用いる車両であって、前記防眩ミラー(17A)がルームミラー(13)として用いられることを特徴とする車両。
- 請求項1または請求項2に記載の防眩ミラーを用いる車両であって、前記防眩ミラー(17B,17C)がドアミラー(14L,14R)として用いられることを特徴とする車両。
- 前記防眩ミラー(17B,17C)の車幅方向内方側の端部に前記切欠き部(25B,25C)が配置されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の車両。
- 鏡面となるガラス基板(18)の背面側に、切欠き部(25A,25B,25C)を有するとともに電圧を印加可能としたエレクトロクロミック層(20)が配置され、このエレクトロクロミック層(20)に、第1,第2の電極兼反射膜(21A,21B)を介して第1,第2の端子(28,29)が電気的に接続される防眩ミラーの製造方法であって、
前記ガラス基板(18)の背面に透明電極膜(19)を形成する第1のステップと、前記切欠き部(25A〜25C)に対応する部分を覆う防着部材(38)を前記ガラス基板(18)および前記透明電極膜(19)に装着した状態で前記透明電極膜(19)の背面の前記防着部材(38)で覆われた部分を除く部分にエレクトロクロミック層(20)を形成する第2のステップと、前記防着部材(38)を取り外した状態で前記エレクトロクロミック層(20)の背面、前記エレクトロクロミック層(20)の前記切欠き部(25A〜25C)に対応する側面および前記透明電極膜(19)の背面に第1および第2の電極兼反射膜(21A,21B)となり得る予成形膜(21)を形成する第3のステップと、第3のステップで形成した前記予成形膜(21)のうち前記切欠き部(25A〜25C)の外縁となる部分にレーザーエッチング処理を施して前記切欠き部(25A〜25C)を形成するとともに前記予成形膜(21)を相互に隔絶した第1および第2の電極兼反射膜(21A,21B)に分離する第4のステップと、第1の電極兼反射膜(21A)に第1の端子(28)を電気的に接続するとともに第2の電極兼反射膜(21B)に第2の端子(29)を電気的に接続する第5のステップとを、順次実行することを特徴とする防眩ミラーの製造方法。
