Description
この出願は、「水素搭載車両でコンパクトに貯蔵するための極低温対応高圧コンテナ」と題する、Gene D. Berryらにより2008年5月16日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/053,754号の利益を主張し、参照により本明細書に援用される。
合衆国政府は、合衆国エネルギー省とローレンス・リバモア・ナショナル・セキュリティLLCとの間でのローレンス・リバモア国立研究所の運営についての契約DE−AC52−07NA27344に従って本発明の権利を有する。
本発明は、流体の貯蔵に適用される圧力容器(pressure vessel)に関する。より詳細には、本発明は、水素搭載車両においてコンパクトで柔軟性の高い貯蔵をするための極低温対応(cryogenic capable)高圧コンテナに関する。
Claims (15)
- 水素または他の物質を気相および/または液相で柔軟に貯蔵する極低温対応高圧コンテナであって、
高圧対応の貯蔵容積を包囲し、該高圧対応の貯蔵容器への管理されたアクセスを提供するアクセスポートを備える少なくとも一つの高圧容器(HPV)と、
前記HPVを取り囲む厚さ約5mm未満の極薄断熱材と、
ほぼ箱形の低圧容器(LPV)であって、前記少なくとも一つの高圧容器と前記低圧容器の間に低圧対応の貯蔵容積が形成され、前記少なくとも一つの高圧容器と前記極薄断熱材の間に前記低圧容器が配置されるように、該低圧容器の内側に前記少なくとも一つの高圧容器が入れ子されており、前記低圧対応の貯蔵容積への管理されたアクセスを提供するアクセスポートを有する、低圧容器と、
を備え、
前記高圧容器および前記低圧容器は、貯蔵された水素または他の物質を別個の量に区分するように設けられている
ことを特徴とする極低温対応高圧コンテナ。 - 前記HPVがほぼ箱形であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 互いに積み重ねられた構成で固定されほぼ箱形のスタックを形成し、スタックが前記極薄断熱材で取り囲まれた、少なくとも一つの追加のほぼ箱形のHPVをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記極薄断熱材が前記LPVを適合するように取り囲むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記高圧対応の貯蔵容積を貫通し、前記HPVの対向する壁を接続する複数の支柱をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記HPVが実質的に円筒形の構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1または4に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記極薄断熱材が前記HPVを適合するように取り囲むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記LPVの内側に入れ子された、少なくとも一つの追加の実質的に円筒形のHPVをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記極薄断熱材が前記LPVを適合するように取り囲むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記高圧対応の貯蔵容積が、その表面に水素を貯蔵する高空隙率の吸着材で少なくとも部分的に満たされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 水素または他の物質を気相および/または液相で柔軟に貯蔵する極低温対応高圧コンテナであって、
互いに積み重ねられた構成で固定されほぼ箱形のスタックを形成する少なくとも二つのほぼ箱形の高圧容器(HPV)であって、高圧対応の貯蔵容積を包囲し、該高圧対応の貯蔵容積への管理されたアクセスを提供するアクセスポートをそれぞれ備える、HPVと、
前記スタックと低圧容器(LPV)の間に低圧対応の貯蔵容積が形成されるようにLPVの内側に前記スタックが入れ子された、ほぼ箱形のLPVであって、前記低圧対応の貯蔵容積への管理されたアクセスを提供するアクセスポートを備えるLPVと、
前記LPVを適合するように取り囲む、厚さ約5mm未満の極薄断熱材と、
を備えることを特徴とする極低温対応高圧コンテナ。 - 前記高圧対応の貯蔵容積と前記低圧対応の貯蔵容積のうち少なくとも一方が、その表面に水素を貯蔵する高空隙率の吸着材で少なくとも部分的に満たされていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 水素または他の物質を気相および/または液相で柔軟に貯蔵する極低温対応高圧コンテナであって、
高圧対応の貯蔵容積を包囲し、該高圧対応の貯蔵容積への管理されたアクセスを提供するアクセスポートを備える少なくとも一つの高圧容器(HPV)と、
前記HPVと低圧容器(LPV)の間に低圧対応の貯蔵容積が形成されるようにLPVの内側に前記HPVが入れ子された、ほぼ箱形のLPVであって、前記低圧対応の貯蔵容積への管理されたアクセスを提供するアクセスポートを備えるLPVと、
前記LPVを適合するように取り囲む、厚さ約5mm未満の極薄断熱材と、
を備えることを特徴とする極低温対応高圧コンテナ。 - 前記低圧対応の貯蔵容積を貫通し、前記LPVの対向する壁を接続する複数の支柱をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
- 前記高圧対応の貯蔵容積と前記低圧対応の貯蔵容積のうち少なくとも一方が、その表面に水素を貯蔵する高空隙率の吸着材で少なくとも部分的に満たされていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の極低温対応高圧コンテナ。
